HIPAA Violation
During my visit on January 19, 2023 my "doctor", Dr. Chang, violated HIPAA during my visit. She was on the phone without my knowledge when I had gotten on my call with her. I had provided all of my personal information to her during my appointment. It turns out Dr. Chang was on the phone with another party and had them on speaker phone while I was giving my information. I know this, because out of nowhere the party on the phone started talking during my appointment. She had put them on speaker phone, then muted me when they started talking. I lodged a complaint right after my call via review and had spoken to their customer service representative to do a formal complaint and receive a case number. Since then, I emailed on 2/7/23, 3/30/23, 4/25/23. It wasn't until 6/1/23 that I received a response where they said they are "unable to substantiate the allegation". Not sure how if these are properly monitored like they should be. Ultimately the email said nothing will be done. I have requested my account to be permanently closed and I do not recommend them. In a perfect world they would have owned up and offered training or something so that this doesn't happen to someone else. I also feel like I should be refunded for that horrible visit. That was one of the worst doctor visits I have ever had in my life.I am appalled by the lack of responsibility of the company. This is a HIPAA violation. Do NOT go through them.
