I have used Doctor on Demand 4 times in the past 3 years for myself and my son. I have had a very positive experience every time with the doctor or nurse practitioner contacting me during the allotted 15 minute window appt time. When an Rx was needed it was sent right away to my pharmacy. The convenience is what I appreciate most as I am not waiting long periods of time in my regular doctors office. This is a perfect service to “see” a doctor for minor sicknesses and I will certainly continue to use them when the need arrives.

They didn't send an email to my wife that they do not prescribe the medication she is taking until it was too late to cancel without getting a $229 late cancelation charge. She she filled out all the paperwork and specified what medicine she would need filled. Dirty crooks. We kept the appointment and paid the $20 but I won't try them again.

SCAM!! Do not use them...I made an appointment to be seen and they never contacted me instead I got the same old messages: Get ready, your appointment is happening soon, don't be driving a car, they don't talk to people while they are driving so pull over if you are in a car, make sure my phone is charged and I am in a well lit room so they can see me, turn off all notifications from my phone so there are no distractions, get ready your appointment is happening soon, then the silly messages on top where the Doctor is being delayed with another Patient and he will see me within 15 minutes, then it turns into an hour! They never made contact with me,,total waste of time!!

They refused to help me After finally finding a great psychiatrist on DOD, I started to feel so much better. But then she notified me that she was leaving DOD. She also assured me that I would be able to find another psych on the platform that would be able to help me. That was in October of last year 2022. I did get to see a psych in November. She was unprofessional and belittling. She was rolling her eyes while I was talking to her about my symptoms and concerns. She denied me my sleep medication. I have severe insomnia. I’ve had it for years. She told me to take melatonin. I have taken 30 mg of melatonin at one time with a dose of Benadryl and I still couldn’t sleep. She refilled my other meds which I didn’t want to take anymore because of the side effects. And I wanted to talk to my previous doctor but then she told me she was leaving. So I figured no big deal I’ll talk to the next psych. Anyway, I told this new psych I wanted something different. She refused. After the session I was beyond upset. I stopped using DOD and tried finding a psych in my city. No luck. I stopped taking my meds. Since November my symptoms from my illness had gotten so bad I finally gave in and set up an appointment with another psych on DOD. Got an appointment in June. This new psych immediately refused to go further with any treatment after he asked me if I was going to continue using another med prescribed by my g.p. And I said yes. DOD does not prescribe the meds I need anyway, yet, he said that it was a conflict of interest and that I needed to find another psych. I had to make another appointment with another psych but I had to wait another month for the appointment which was made July 2. By the time I finally got to see her my symptoms were even worse. She said that this was not the platform I needed and that she was not going to help me. And she gave the same BS reason about my meds that other guy told me. But my previous doctor , the one that left had no issues with my other meds. I told this new doctor this. She didn’t care. I’m crying at this point. I’m begging for help. She refused. She said that because of my mental instability she was going to activate an emergency response. In other words, call the cops on me. I never told her I was going to hurt myself or gave her a reason. So I said “ so you are telling me that the only way I can get help i need is to threaten my life. And even then you won’t help. You are only passing the buck”. I thanked her for her golden inspiration of help and compassion. And hung up. So the only psych patients they are willing to help are mentally stable people who don’t need much help in the first place. The mental health in this country needs serious reform. It is inhumane how people with psychiatric illnesses with no fault of their own are treated. It it pure back burner neglect.

Do NOT use! Dr was fantastic, but the pharmacy never got the prescription. I’ve called customer service for Dr on Demand 3 times today, and all they say is that my case is a priority one. I asked how long it would take and was told “it could be 5 min or 5 hours”. It’s now been 6 1/2 hours, and I need my asthma med, so may have to go to urgent care. Dr on demand says they can’t give refund, but that they are “still working on my ticket”. Every time I call, the customer service person uses the exact same script. They are useless.

Awful. Needed a LOA form filled out by my doctor. They claim that the medical document department handles documents as they are received. Waited 3 weeks. Called them again and they tell me that my documents are now "high priority." We'll see if they ever get filled out.

Just a waste of money. These doctors just want the cash and the next patient. They are mandated reporters and that's all they're looking for.
