“YOU need to pay for another appointment because WE screwed up”
I used this app for the convenience of it. I have a thyroid disorder that I have had for years and I just needed a prescription refilled. They required that I got labs done and then they would give me a refill. I was fine with getting the labs done. The doctor said she would refill my prescription as soon as she got the results. She got the results, but never refilled my prescription.
I messaged customer support and told them that I had never received my prescription refill. They told me that I needed to pay for another visit. Now I am in a back-and-forth battle with them because I refuse to pay for another visit when my initial visit was for a prescription refill. I feel like they do this on purpose so customers are forced to pay for another visit.

Absolutely horrendous service…the…
Absolutely horrendous service…the camera and mic wouldn’t turn on so doctor couldn’t see or hear me…I kept pressing the icons but nothing. I wrote doctor a message saying I could see and hear her but couldn’t get camera and mic to go on at my end so she replied and said she’d call me then didn’t. I wrote customer support and told them then they came back to say she’d call me…but she didn’t call for another 20mins…and this was after I wrote customer support twice to ask when she intended to call me back. When she did, the consult lasted 2mins and she said she’d send the prescription. I had to then write customer support to ask how the prescription would be sent and they told me it would go to my phone via text but it’s now been 7 hrs (it’s after midnight) and still no script. I’ve written customer service multiple times to ask where my script is and yet to find out what the hell has happened. I wont use this service ever again….dodgy as hell. Where is my script?????

Waste of time… 4 times!
First appointment was actually ok… the RN was nice enough but oddly overly friendly commenting on the decor in my house every time she saw something of interest. My follow up appointment’s supposedly didn’t go through due to technical errors on her part not on mine. But she didn’t even bother to follow up on her end with an apology or anything just nothing. Booked a 3rd time to be told she was ending a previous call and would be on soon….30 minutes later - nothing. Called tech support and they suggested trying the app instead of my browser saying She had claimed technical issues on her end during previous attempts. Used my app, it told me again she was on a previous call…waited wand waiting only to be sent a notification that I was a No Show and it charged me $30! I called and insisted a refund! The support person suggested I write a FEEDBACK message and when I did so I got some basic canned response about it being technical errors on MY Side and they marked the ticket as RESOLVED! Crazy useless company. I do not know why my Regence Health Insurance is aligned with them.

Overcharged for Therapy with Zero Patient Concern-worst mental health experience I’ve had to date
My husband passed away recently and I have been having an extremely hard time adjusting, so I used Dr. On Demand for therapy. I mean this when I say that it actually caused more harm than good!!
First, I scheduled an appointment with a provider that was leaving the platform the following week! No notification of this until the actual appointment. So, my first appointment was an absolute waste of time, breath, and, of course, money.
Cut to my third appointment. I gave the second provider a chance after my first appointment with him was generic, at best, and really had a very detached vibe. I did not feel as though I was getting personalized care at all (and I have a masters degree in psychology, so I have some additional insight into all of this).
Third appointment was supposed to be 25 minutes but somehow he had me booked for 50. We ended at 25. I’m a recent widow and on a very tight budget but I know I needed to see someone, so I was doing so within my current capabilities.
Despite the appointment documented as lasting the 25 minutes, and a wait period of 3 WEEKS while my request for reimbursement was being “reviewed”, I was denied a refund. I called THAT day of the appointment when I realized I was overcharged by $60.
I was charged for a service I was not provided and did not even request. The overcharge actually overdrafted my account on that day, which is something I told them each time I called them. I continued calling because I received only one response to an email (silence after I responded to that) and zero return phone calls.
I am struggling in many areas, especially financially right now, and my experience with Dr. On Demand left me more anxious and upset than when I began. This “provider” network knowingly caused additional distress to a mental health patient! I cannot imagine having been someone susceptible to harming myself and having this happen. I’m terrified for other patients that might be in need of much more care who may be on the brink of doing something harmful.
How irresponsible, unethical, and cold … oh, and obviously greedy.
I will not be making any kind of appointment through this service and will not be referring anyone to the app, and honestly wonder if I should more actively protest against anyone using it, at least for mental health services!

Scam
Scam. Insisted on payment up front for a telehealth appointment, then ALSO successfully billed my insurance for the same amount. You can bet I'm going to tell my PPO about this double-dipping.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. They are very unprofessional. The doctor's cancel appointments and I was charged for missing an appointment. I rescheduled only to have that same doctor not wait the allotted time for me to login to the meeting and close it out as being missed so that is another charge for missing an appointment. I will NOT use this service again.
