I sincerely wish I would have read the reviews. My daughter has a fever of 100.4 and thick green mucus coming out of her nose which indicates infection. The doctor was explaining asthma characteristics and then the call abruptly ended. I thought maybe there was an error and waited 20 minutes for the doctor to call back. No one ever did, instead I got a summary saying that my child has a virus and not bacteria and no antibiotics. It was extremely insensitive and down right rude. I will just wait until the morning and call her regular doctor. I think they are forbidden to call in antibiotics.

I was seeing a psychiatrist and tried to make my next appt, but she had left. I was not notified. I still needed my medicine. There were no other psychiatrists. I checked all day everyday hoping one would be available, and none were. They said I can use a regular doctor that also specialized in mental health. I made an appointment. When I saw her she said she can't cross treat. She said that dr on demand would only let her do medical, even though she also specialized in mental health. So she told me contact dr on demand. I was not able to talk to her at all. In the meantime I was having major trouble with my bipolar, which has had me disabled for 16 years. I was out of medicine and doing really bad. I was in desperate need of a dr. When you message dr on demand they don't for the most part answer you. And most of the answers were useless. I was luckily able to find a dr locally. I was so disappointed in this company.

this company has the worst accounting system I have ever encountered. I shouldn't have any sort of bill with them, and somehow my bill has gone up in one month from $334 to $855.68. Im starting to think this company is a scam. I can't get anyone to help me or even explain why they are charging me these amounts.

The experience was and is horrible, I had my initial visit a month ago and reached out via chat and phone way too many times to mention. First and foremost, you are unable to speak with the provider and at the mercy of various teams who are supposed to disperse and prioritize each matter. Unfortunately, there aren’t any checks and balances and it can take upwards of a week for resolution. Most importantly, the physician I saw, prescribed me a medication that requires lab work, she did not send the order to the lab; I’ve called so many times and was told the message was high priority. What is their definition of HIGH PRIORITY. In addition, another concerning matter, is that my pharmacy and I have both reached out to the practice on numerous occasions to request a refill and up to today (even though it too was high priority) I’ve yet to get an answer; keep in mind the medication is a drug that can not be stopped abruptly. I requested to speak to someone to escalate the matter and discuss my overall experience and was left with no apologies, solution, or result. Last, but far from least, some of the Customer Service Representatives were very rude. My assessment is either they are over worked and under paid or they hired some people (physicians) included who are not dedicated/committed to providing optimal care. As far as the Physician’s go, I will assume they may have their own practice and or work outside of Dr on demand hence, their inability to respond to pertinent matters. I will not utilize this service again nor would I recommend it. I wish I did my due diligence and looked at the reviews before utilizing the service.

Awful. They don't treat sinus infections even though it is listed. They used to prescribe antibiotics but I guess not anymore. My wife had a sinus infection and they gave her nothing but nose spray. She went to her nurse practitioner and got the appropriate antibiotics and steroids better quickly. I have used Dr. On demand twice in the last 2 weeks. I have a sinus infection, I know what it feels like. The first visit steroids and nose spray. The 2nd vist the same sprays minus the steroids. When I questioned the medical advice the Dr. Told me to go see my Dr.????? It makes no sense. So now I will have to go to the urgent care and spend more money plus take work off. I will never use the Dr. On demand service again.

My husband has a history of elbow bursitis, but a change in insurance meant that he had a period without a primary care physician. The only option available was an urgent care clinic 45 minutes away, which was not covered by insurance. We hoped this would be a good option, probably resulting in either a prescription for antibiotics if septic bursitis was diagnosed or possibly a referral option for a shot of cortisone if other type. Instead, he was told he had septic bursitis and needed to go to see a doctor who would inject antibiotics into the bursa, although this has never been his prescribed treatment in prior cases, which were worse than he was currently experiencing. So he paid $75 to be told what we already knew, given no treatment, told to see a doctor, and it was honestly a total waste of money. I had imagined that doctors on demand could at least write a prescription for oral antibiotics… especially since the doctor said antibiotics were required to treat it. Instead, he tried to get in the following day, but it was such a long wait he was not able to so he just iced it took a lot of Tylenol and several days later resolved on its own.

I paid 79 dollars to see a doctor about my allergic reaction and all she said was go see a doctor. I thought that’s what I was doing. Terrible!!!
