Horrible inexperienced social workers who are over worked and under paid. One never showed her face in my phone and only showed the top of her head. Obviously it was a different person. Another social worker told me my spouse was a criminal and needed to be locked up in jail. Both times it was a waste of my time and they were the ones who needed counseling.

STOP RUN, DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION
I wish I could score this -100. Well, they do not allow direct communication with my doctor. All messages have to go through them. I had a medication that required a pre-auth. They did not inform me until I found out from my pharmacy. I messaged them to ask my doctor for a pre-auth, which is at most 5-7 bus days to process, but they didn't process it initially, only after multiple messages, and at that, they took 3 weeks—repeatedly telling me via that app message system that it would be 5-7 business days. I called them, but they still took over 10 days to get to my doctor and complete it. One employee made the mistake of telling me about their internal processes. Apparently, when they receive a request for pre-auth, a triage group reviews it, which takes a few days, and then another group reviews it to determine if they need to send it to the doctor. They have no authority to do anything for a pre-auth required by insurance from the doctor. Then, when the doctor resubmits the answers to the pre-auth questions, it's a few days more before it is reviewed and forwarded to the insurance company. OMG, these people are insane!!!

This has to be the worse organization…
This has to be the worse organization with no customer support. If you have an issue with claims, they are less than stellar in helping customers. I had several people lie to me about my claim status. This place tells you they resubmit claims which they NEVER DID…. I would never do business with this organization again!!!! I checked with my insurance and Doctor on Demand only reached out to my insurance one time. Doctor on Demand said they reached out to my insurance numerous times. NO ONE SHOULD EVER LIE TO SOMEONE. .

Unprofessional.
Service seems cobbled together. Sometimes it will say my insurance eligibility couldn't be obtained so it's $89 bucks. Other times it does. Today what broke the back was an unprofessional nurse who completed the visit. This was only my 2nd use of the service in years. She barely seemed interested. Service also had connection issues. Didn't listen. On top of that, all I was doing was seeking a refill of WHAT THEY ALREADY PRESCRIBED. Told her no side effects. Working fine. She decided to reduce the Rx for no reason other then trying to say "for insurance reasons". I tried to contact them but the provider denied request to refill the previous amount. She said something about it being an "urgent care" setting? Lucky for me, insurance covers 2 other providers so I will just move to the other one. So I guess I will just do an extra refill, making an extra trip (hassle) all because this person didn't listen to me.

AVOID THIS SERVICE!
The service was rendered in November, 2023. I was billed and paid for service on 12/5/23. Every month thereafter I have received a bill for this service.
I have written to them with a copy of the cancelled check, I have called them twice but nothing has helped.
And as a secondary note, the 'doctor' was of no help whatsoever.

Customer support & billing makes this app not worth it
Billing has always been an issue. I’m one of those folks who reviews their insurance EOB as they come. Every single claim Dr On Demand sends to my insurance gets denied and it’s ALWAYS for the same reason- not providing the provider’s ID. I’ve been using this app for 2 years for my therapy session, how is this still an ongoing issue? I’ve raised this concern to them multiple times & those times they do get it corrected but it’ll be months later. I had to filed a dispute where they wrongfully charged me. It took 2 months to get my money back! And currently, I am out on medical leave, I submitted documents over 5 days ago that needs to go over to my therapist so he can review & sign. We had an appointment since I submitted it over & he told me he did not receive anything. I call in about it, they say there’s no sense of urgency & they have folks who’s been waiting longer. Like, what? There’s other people who’s waiting for their documents & they’ve waited longer than I have? They’re terrible & it sucks so bad because I absolutely love my therapist but their customer service & billing makes it not worth working with them anymore.

I have bacterial conjunctivitis
I have bacterial conjunctivitis, pink eye. I have had it before. I know the appearance and symptoms. I had a visit with a drondemand doctor. The doctor prescribed an antihistamine eye drop that doesn't properly treat bacterial conjunctivitis.

Great doctors but shady billing
I had great care from the doctors on Doctor on Demand. However, the company has overcharged me $549 and refuses to respond or address this issue. In 2023, I had Humana insurance. They covered the visits in full with $0 copay but Doctor on Demand continued to charge me $40 for every visit. They would do a refund here or there. When my insurance changed in January, I provided the information before my visit. They billed me $99; however, they never billed my insurance and my copay was only $30.
