I’ve used dr on demand for years. I get sinus infections every year since I was a child. The dr I saw, SHONTAY BUTLER, was awful. She prescribed me nothing and told me to take a Covid test and pay for another visit if it is negative for 3 days. I’ve had Covid and the flu, she asked about body aches, fever, and chills which I have none of. Regardless I bought a test and as predicted it was negative. She asked what I’d been using, when I told her she said she “didn’t like” those meds. She doesn’t like to prescribe anything, not even a nasal spray. I paid $100 for advice I could’ve went to the local pharmacy for free. They REFUSED a refund, and refused a free visit with a different provider. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. I used call on doc the following day and they were WONDERFUL. Immediately gave me the antibiotics I needed and some other things to help clear me up. I never write reviews but Shontay butler was so ridiculous, why is she even a dr if she doesn’t like medicine or want to help patients?

This customer service rep named Isaiah M. was one of their best reps he actually helped! He went above and beyond. Put my frown upside down!

Horrible customer service and follow up. Paid for my daughters sinus infection visit and when the meds were ineffective and we asked for a follow up- it took 4 days to get back to us. Their recommendation was to use their urgent care option. Another copay later with another organization- and we finally have am antibiotic. Dr on Demand refused a refund. They are a scam. There are much better options available

I have used doctor on demand multiple times over the last 4 years, and it used to be a helpful alternative when I couldn't easily get in with my primary care doctor. However, I would not use the service again after my most recent experience in July 2024. I had an online visit early in the morning with one of their doctors and needed a prescription filled right away. The doctor sent in the prescription, but there was a problem with it, and the pharmacy would not fill it without getting an updated change from the doctor. The doctor was not responding and so I contacted the app support. They urged me to do a new doctor visit so that I could still get the prescription that day before the pharmacy closed, and suggested I could get a refund for one of the visits since the original doctor was not responding. I also got disconnected during one of the visits, and the app itself seemed glitchy this time. But the main issue was that after all this back and forth and waiting all day to try and get a needed prescription, the support staff refused to honor the refund and I was charged twice for the exact same issue on the same day, simply because the original doctor failed to respond in a timely manner. I would not use this service for any issue where you might need a prescription filled quickly, nor would I recommend it in general based on the poor treatment of customers and patients.

I have not had any issues with the providers themselves, they were efficient, helpful, and polite. The website, however, is fundamentally broken. When trying to schedule a follow-up, I could not schedule anything until I provided camera permissions, which I had already given. I tried this on multiple browsers and devices, and it did not work on any of them. When I finally did get an appointment (which I needed to get with a different provider, the website was unable to connect. I saw the provider on camera, but I did not see myself (I tested this before the appointment, and it was working). After about a minute, I was booted to a screen which said "We are having trouble connecting." No matter how many times I refreshed, this screen kept popping up. Even when I tried going to the home page, it kept redirecting me to that same broken page. No option to IM the provider, nothing. When the site did work, it was fine, but I clearly can't rely on it working. My advice is find a more reliable option.

The worst experience ever! The doctor was apathetic, indifferent & downright rude. Refused to make eye contact while I described the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life. AND now they are trying to bill me for a service that is supposed to be free with my employee benefits. Whatever, I will pay them just to leave me alone. However, I would definitely not recommend this to anyone I know or care about. If I had one, I might recommend to an enemy lol. Actually, Drs on Demand is now my only enemy. It is cruel to present yourself as a helpful solution & then actively hurt the person who requests help. I have used this service twice with results that left me in worse shape than when I initially called. The first time, I thought it was a fluke. The second time, it was apparent that the doctors they hire are working off of a checklist & have no interest in your condition or well being. Never Again!!

Appalling on every level - technical issues, rudeness, complete inability to advise on my medical issue and the worst attitude to boot! What was I paying for!! I should’ve read the reviews first! Clearly they don’t care about their service otherwise it would’ve improved by now.

I just had a visit with nurse Shannon Hogan who refused to help me or refill my prescription just because she couldn't call the shots I know my body I've been going through this for years I know what I need I know what I've been missing for the last week is my blood pressure medicine and I know once I take my blood pressure medicine I feel better but that's not what happened right off the bat she did not want to refill my prescription I wasted time from work my insurance wasted money all because she wanted to send me to a facility to get test done where they could charge me more money or charge my insurance more money this is a scam this app is a scam if you want to save money stay away from this app I'm a single father I work 6 days a week I don't have time to visit facilities just to refill a prescription once in a blue moon..thank the lord for teladoc
