Ordered a Fishing Pole and paid the extra money for next day delivery. Four days went by and no update to the tracking information. Finally, five days later, the tracking information updated, and it seemed like my package was in route to the destination. Today 4/27/22, I get a notification saying my package has an exception and is unable to be delivered and to call the carrier. I called FedEx to see what was going on and they told me that the package was marked as an exception because they box was empty. NEVER ordering from them again.

We have been loyal patrons for 10+…
We have been loyal patrons for 10+ years. We have purchased a few large workout equipment items. A recent product failed prematurely and the warranty we purchased has not been honored. We’ve been told, for more than 6 months that they could not get a service technician to our home to evaluate and they would refund our purchase. Unfortunately, they walked that back. Last week we were told they would have someone call us. We then found out the delay in a service visit was because they would not pay to have it inspected. So, we opted to pay to have someone come out and diagnose the problem. Now they will not honor their warranty. We called the manufacturer directly and after a few minutes we were informed that the item is within its full manufacturer warranty period and it will be repaired at not cost to us. They also shared that Dick’s and the Warranty company are fully aware of that policy and should have communicated it to us when we reported the issue. If I paid Dick’s to insure the purchase for 2 years but it would be covered by the manufacturer what did I really pay for? This could have been avoided if they had just honored their warranty. This is completely unacceptable. I would like the cost of the insurance refunded.

Still trying to get a refund on shipping that never happened
Purchased a kayak at the end of February. Their trucking company of choice "lost" my kayak.
Dick's customer service reassured me TWICE that I would be refunded for the shipping cost as well as the kayak, but to date, they've only refunded the kayak. I'm still on the hook for 170.00 for the shipping unless they make good on their word.
Don't order anything oversized from this company. Between them and the trucking company, I'm worn down. Not worth the hassle for a plastic boat.

Never again
We had a gift card and were planning to purchase ammunition, to our shock and surprise they no longer carry! We will never go there again. They must be part of the liberal “woke” masses. We will happily drive an hour to drive to a TRUE sporting goods store. May you RIP

It feels like half a sporting goods store. They have no hunting or fishing gear. Only useful if you need a baseball bat or golf club. The website isn't indicative of what they have in store.

I am always skeptical when I read a review that begins with “I never leave negative reviews, but . . .” But I really don’t - and here I would give a zero if that was an option. My dealings with both Dick’s Sporting Goods and their third party service provider, Select Express and Logistics, have been some of the worst of my life. The bottom line is neither company cares anything about their relationship with their customer. When I bought my treadmill at Dick’s, one of the team members took me over to a separate computer, pulled up a calendar and told me Select Express only delivered on Mondays. We picked a Monday about 3 weeks away. I thought I had an appointment for 3/14. Well, on 3/5 Select Express just showed up out of the blue to deliver and assemble my treadmill – I was 250 miles away at the time. I had not received any communication from them about the delivery. When I called them back, they said my service had been cancelled and I’d have to reschedule – and said I did not have an appointment on 3/14. Every time I called them to reschedule (I called them no less than three more times), I was assured it would be rescheduled but no one ever called me back. After the failed delivery attempt, I called Dick’s and spoke to their manager – Michelle. She practically accused me of lying when I told her one of her employees had scheduled the delivery for me – apparently they do not do that and our little walk over to a separate computer to look at a calendar and pick a day and time never happened. Then she said she would reach out to them and let them know they needed to contact me. They never did and when I called them, they claimed Michelle had never called them. When I called Dick’s for the final time, Michelle basically told me they had no control over their third party service provider and I could simply cancel the sale. Which I did. And no one cared. This review isn’t near as harsh as I planned, but I took the high road – but not on a treadmill.
