Contrary to what I was told
Contrary to what I was told, I decided to believe this Sporting Goods website when they said they could deliver a $9.99 product to me same-day delivery for a $9.99 delivery cost plus a tip for the delivery service. Sounds crazy, but I had 101 things to do that day so I said what the heck let's go for it. I was promised delivery by 4 PM. By 7 PM I tracked the order and it was being prepared for delivery no delivery date. so I contacted customer service and they said well. The item is unavailable near you and there is no way they can get it to you same day. Now I told her there were only three My words that the website needed to put down: out of stock. That easy. Amazon does it all the time. She told me that she really can't say anything about Amazon, but I told her get a lesson. So I asked for a refund, actually cancellation, but I have to wait five days to get a refund. I am annoyed. I wasted time and effort on the phone and I could've gone down the street to a Lowe's to find what it was that I was going to buy from This store. Funny I am prohibited from using the store name as it is deemed inappropriate in this sentence. However, I am a member and it seemed easy and I didn't have to waste the time shopping. Obviously, I am not going to shop there again. And I will tell everyone I know and they will do the same thing. Because we do not have to go to Dick's to get quality goods. The website is fraudulent and lies to the consumer and that is inexcusable. Here is the thing, I have the ability to shop anywhere. It does not make a difference for me if it's a dime or a dollar, or if it's $100, if I get annoyed because of their misrepresentation online, that's it I will not shop with them again. They offer a convenience that we pay for that they cannot meet. Inexcusable even for ten dollars.
