I decided to give Defy Medical a shot after three years of being dismissed by my regular primary care doctor’s office, who refused to take my symptoms seriously or order a full battery of tests. I was hesitant to pay out of pocket, however I was desperate for answers and sick of suffering from years-long fatigue, joint paint, heart palpitations, and hair loss. Marcos and Estefany were absolutely amazing and helpful during the intake process. I had so many questions and they were so patient and so helpful. The transition from intake to the initial lab work to my first appointment with Dr. Caulkins was completely seamless. Dr. Caulkins was also very patient and very helpful. He spent an hour going over every single symptom and lab result and was very thorough in his explanations. He was able to diagnose from my labs and my symptoms two medical conditions that my primary care doctor completely missed due to not listening to me and refusing to order the necessary lab tests (that were subsequently ordered by Defy as the routine starter labs). Now that I am on some much-needed medication, my life has completely changed for the better. I have energy, I am not in as much pain, and my hair is no longer falling out in giant clumps. I am convinced that Dr. Caulkins and Defy Medical as a whole saved my life. Also, every staff member I have spoken to on the phone and via email have been wonderful and helpful. I regret that I cannot remember their names but they were so patient in helping me get my medication filled at my local pharmacy and also helping me fill out super bills to submit to my health insurance for reimbursement of the up-front out of pocket costs. I cannot thank everyone at Defy Medical enough for giving me my life my back. Hands down, the best decision I could have made for my health. Thank you so much!

Marisa was very helpful and answered all my questions I asked . She was very knowledgeable and has made everything easy to understand.

I am so pleased by the fact I am finally working with a practitioner who listens to me and allows me to have input on my treatment plan. My previous experience with HRT/BHRT brought me no relief of my symptoms and left me feeling miserable. I am feeling so much better, even 3 months after surgery that placed me into surgical menopause! I am so glad I am getting my life back. This has been nothing but a positive experience.
