I hate to complain. But the $$ for the consultation that starts about 15 minutes late and last 10 minutes … seriously I am having issue w some weight gain since starting hrt and can’t even get that addressed or figured out. Next time I will pay the lesser amount for a NP . I think I have what I am doing by trial and error figured out , it seems .

At initial consult, mentioned cited inflammation was provided for their assessment, their clinical algorithm likely jumped straight to GLP-1s because dropping visceral fat is the most reliable way to lower baseline CRP for the average patient. However, by treating GLP-1s as the default hammer, they skipped over the nuanced, direct anti-inflammatory pathways like heavy-hitters BPC-157 or KPV (which heavily downregulate pro-inflammatory cytokines), or Thymosin Alpha-1 (TA1), which modulates the immune system to actively calm vascular and systemic tissue inflammation.

It took a long time to get scheduled and the app was not either working or didn’t have the option to schedule which was inconvenient. The appointment was a little confusing as far as what she thought I needed.

Session was ok. The audio quality was bad. Delay / Lag in phone made it hard to talk. Cadence was not very structured. But overall decent review. I di snot learn much more than I already knew from research online.

My consultation with the practitioner went well and I'm very happy with that. I did wait three weeks for that first appointment and it's now 11 days past my appointment with the practitioner and I am still waiting on the meds actually getting sent to the pharmacy so I can start them. So know in advance that the practitioner and the people I've spoken with at Defy were fantastic, however, the breakdown is in the timeline.

There were technical difficulties that made the connection not go through at first, which made me personally feel rushed when we finally did get connected. I was also discombobulated that we wrapped up as quickly as we did, and forgot to ask at least two questions that I needed to ask.

Unfortunately the NP who I spoke to was not knowledgeable. Just agreed to everything I had to say.

Beth is great but she was going to send some prescriptions to my pharmacy. Only one was sent and I have emailed twice about it. My appointment was July 7 and it is now almost 2 weeks later and the prescriptions are still not called in. Very frustrated.
