I don,t recommend David's Bridal at all. I purchased a mother of the bride dress, When I got home I realized the style was not good for me I went back to the store less than 24 hours later and they would not let me exchange it for something else. Please understand when you purchase a dress they do not tell you it is a final sale. Very bad way to conduct business.

I’m a bridesmaid in my close friends wedding. I came to David’s to find the perfect dress and I DID! Thankful for Shaina as she was very helpful and patient with me! I’ll be back in when my dress arrives to buy shoes and accessories! Yay! Thanks again Shaina, you’re the best!

Im getting married September 8th and David's bridal let me come in, try it on and helped me pick out my accessories. Hailey helped me out and she made it fun, relaxing and I like that she helped me pick out accessories that went with my dress. They are so easy to work with and Hailey made the experience that much better. Thank you David's Bridal!

The Glasgow David's Bridal is a…
The Glasgow David's Bridal is a testament to the entire company and having read a multitude of negative reviews for the London store but nothing but sparkling reviews for the Glasgow store, I think other branches could learn a thing or two from this particular branch.
My family and I were greeted as we walked into the store by Chloe (who also happened to be my stylist for the appointment) with so much joy and kindness I was instantly excited for the appointment. She was incredible from start to finish I feel so grateful that my experience was with her.
Right from the get go she was funny, approachable, joyful, patient and kind. Sue explained the process perfectly and helped us feel at ease and excited. I was able to show her all the pictures I had and all the images I had pinned from the instagram page and it really helped us find the right direction.
As a plus size bride I was weary of having a negative experience but not once was I made to feel like any other bride. Chloe took my measurements and never asked my size or told me my measurements so I didn't feel the need to ask. All I knew was as I browsed and picked dresses she would be pulling the samples in the appropriate sizes for me. This for me was really wonderful because I know plus size brides fear being made to feel different because of their weight but it never even came into the conversation. As a confident plus size women this was great but I know for other plus women who might not quite be as confident yet, this kind of experience is the making of a positive journey from them as brides.
I ended up trying on 7 dresses and at no point did I feel rushed or pushed, in fact Chloe encouraged me to be as vocal as possible while also taking on the feedback from my family and friends present at the appointment, while also making sure I felt in control.
By the end of the appointment I wasnt sure if I would find anything but the final dress I tried on, which coincidentally I had saved three times on instagram, ended up being THE dress. As soon as I put it on I knew, and when I stepped out so did my family and friends. Chloe completed the look with a gorgeous cathedral length embodied veil, a tiara and the bouquet and I truly felt like a bride.
It was such a perfect experience for myself and my family and friends. There were tears and I felt over the moon ringing the bell and making a wish for myself and my fiance as I said YES TO THE DRESS.
The only negative I have of the experience unfortunately comes from the manager of the store which while she seemed lovely enough, was very overbearing. She was very intense and actually quite standoffish explaining that we weren't allowed to film or take pictures of me in the dresses I tried on despite the fact I had done this in other stores, but of course we understood the stores policy and respected it. But then for the rest of my appointment she hovered almost as if she felt her presence needed to be there to enforce the rule. There were no other brides around me so this felt unnecessary because the reason the policy was there was because a bride had complained about being in another brides picture. There were other appointments behind us though and she never even went over to check on them
She lingered around our appointment and quite frankly as the only people of colour in the store it did make me feel uncomfortable because it sent a message that the black family needed to be "watched". It would have been different if she was paying me special attention and trying to make the experience better but I didnt feel that from anyone but Chloe who went above and beyond.
It was disappointing and I know it wouldn't have been the intention of the manager to make a black bride feel singled out or like there was an issue but nonetheless every time I stepped out of the dressing room that's how it felt. Blessedly I was able to have the strength to ignore her and just focus on the reason I was there but I do hope that other people of colour that visit the store do not end up having something like that.

Coupons are worded so that the stores don’t honor them. It is very frustrating. The salesperson just shrugged their shoulders when I asked why a bridesmaid dress is not an occasion dress. I emailed the corporate offices and didn’t receive any help. A very unfortunate experience, I suggest shopping at a mom and pop shop. At least you will receive good customer service and your “occasion” is treated with importance.
