Terrible experience with David’s Bridal Stratford office. I asked several times what the refund policy was and was reassured by staff that served me that if I changed my mind before collecting/altering the dress I would be able to get a full refund as I had some reservations. Having called up to cancel the order in March, I was eventually called back in June to tell me that any refund would be in store credits. I would not have bought the dress if I had known this or that you had to cancel within 7 days. I have been totally misled by David’s Bridal staff in order for them to secure a sale. I ordered the dress over the phone and by the time my receipt arrived it would have been outside the window in any case (which is ridiculous!). I will not be recommending David’s bridal to others. They should be clear on their policies from the onset as it’s not fair on customers.

Getting married next year but decided to find a style now as I don't 'do' dresses. Got to choose five dresses which I think is more than enough for the first appointment. Went there with mind set that I wasn't going to buy my dress..... OMG how wrong was I, the saying is true, if you know you know and the very first dress that I tried on, I was crying. None of the other dresses had that effect on me so I knew in an instant that was my dress. My stylist Terri was a joy to work with, very professional and lovely, walked me through the different dresses and listened to what I wanted. Wasn't rushed or pushed into anything. Even had the store manager come over and get involved. Such a lovely bunch of people and they know their stuff. Plenty of space in the changing rooms for two people, could have even gotten a third in there. This whole experience has left me lost for words, which trust me doesn't happen very often. I could honestly go there and do it all again.

Dresses all very similar, only an hour to try on just 5 dresses. Cramped dressing room for two people. Just a lack lustre experience all in all. Was quite busy but didn’t see any other customers who looked good in the dresses they were trying on. Staff were professionally pleasant but not very engaged in the process. Have walked past the store many times and have never been impressed with the window display.

@davidsbridal WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURN POLICY (particularly during a pandemic). This company gives you 7 (SEVEN!) days to make a return of any dress and it has to be on the identical hangar and plastic bag you received it in. I did not have the right hangar so no return.

Arrived as a group for bridesmaid dresses thinking it would be a nice experience. We were told to find our own dresses, and there were hardly any dresses in our sizes (8-14) to try on. We each managed to find about two in our size so that was all we had to try on. We had no help from customer service and they were trying to rush us through. The wedding is now cancelled and we have been waiting months for a refund ‘for stores to open’. I don’t know why they can’t do this remotely like ALL OTHER SHOPS. Also stating I need to go into store for a refund when I paid over the phone. I live hours away. Avoid this company they are a nightmare to deal with! I wish I never went to them at all!!!

Every experience I have had at David's Bridal has been terrible. My first experience was shopping for my wedding dress in 2016. I made an appointment so my family could come (my grandmother was dying of cancer and she would only be able to see me in a wedding dress this way). When arriving the staff was rude and acted as if we were a bother then proceeded to tell me I didn't have an appointment. Luckily we printed out the appointment confirmation so they decided to "make time for me". They said they could only give me 45 minutes and only allowed me to try on 5 dresses. The staff helping me try on the dresses was very impatient and rushed me and then tried to get me to say yes to a dress at the end of my short, terrible experience. My second experience with David's Bridal is for my brothers wedding. I am a bridesmaid and the bride had us order through David's even though I told her my past experience hasn't been pleasant. I was 9 months pregnant when I had to try the dress on because they told us we had to order it in November/December to have it here by April because her wedding is in May. Come end of May and I still haven't received my dress. Once it came in I tried it on and it was a little snug (they guesstimated what size to order) so I called to see if I could exchange it for the next size. They told me if I exchanged it it would be here June 23. Here we are June 23 and no Dress and the wedding is 8 days away (wedding date had to be changed due to dresses not being here by May 15 because of COVID19). They told me they would email the warehouse because they couldn't call. I will not do business with them again.

Their customer service is the worst! Can't talk to anyone over the phone, takes 6+ hours to get a response via text, never got anywhere with getting my order switched in one day of texting back & forth, the list goes on --- all I can tell you is to save the hassle and purchase all your wedding attire, etc. from somewhere else!

Jazz was amazing to work with! She was kind, caring, and very helpful. We had a very pleasant experience especially during these Covid circumstances!! So glad I went there. 💜
