Mabel at the Woodbridge Va location was wonderful. I asked for honesty with the different dresses I tried on and that’s what I got. Her patience was remarkable because I can be all over the place at times (my attempt to multi task) and she helped me stay focused. I didn’t have an appointment and the ladies there got me in within minutes by squeezing me in. Thank you so much Mabel and all the other ladies that helped me.

I can’t believe how quickly I found my wedding dress!! The staff were so lovely and sweet and helped me so much. A big shout out to Alma and Cristina in the London Stratford branch. Stratford is such a great place to enjoy the day with your loved ones and get your wedding dress.

My friend’s wedding was sadly canceled
My friend’s wedding was sadly canceled, due to COVID. I tried to return my dress, and since I’m out of the “return window” I can’t. I would have expected, from a large company, to make exceptions related to the global pandemic.

Unethical Business Practices
Totally disappointed and would defines not recommend this location or any David’s Bridal locations. My fiancé has been to this location three times in the past few two months. When she bought her dress she asked about the cost of alterations and was told they didn’t know how much the alterations would be and that she would need to talk to the alterations department. That trip no one from alterations was available. She bought the dress and went back a few weeks later to try it on. The again asked about alteration cost and was told they really didn’t have a way to estimate it. Today she went back a third time to have it pinned and the alterations lady came out with a laminated sheet with every single item with the cost next to it. She was given a total for alterations that was almost the cost of the dress. So, David’s Bridal has a wonderful scam going where they intentionally use misinformation tactics to hide the exorbitant prices from customers in order to make sales. This is a grossly unethical business practice. Everyone from the alterations department and the store manager seemed like it was just not there problem and seemed irritated that they were being confronted with their own incompetence.

HORRIBLE customer service -- DO NOT ORDER ONLINE
HORRIBLE customer service experience. Do not order online from this business or you will regret it! Their website is poorly designed, very slow, and often doesn't work at all.
Returns are laborious and confusing. The dresses are all identified by 10 word names rather than a simple number. Very tedious.
If there's a problem, you can only communicate via text message on a phone -- phone calls are only answered by a message telling you to text, so you can't simply TALK to a person, and there's no e-mail address. Texting and waiting for responses takes forever. I spent literally all day on this yesterday, the issue wasn't resolved, and then the next day, the whole thing started all over again with a new rep as if nothing had ever happened yesterday. I could've explained the whole thing in a 5 minute phone conversation.
It was a mistake on David Bridal's part, not mine, and no one should have to go through this just to get a refund for a dress already returned.
We're in a pandemic, and if this business hopes to survive, it needs to make some serious changes in how it deals with customers online and create a 21st century website that actually works rather than being constantly frustrating.
