I went to the David's bridal store in 611 Route 18 South, East Brunswick, NJ. And I have to say it was such a GREATTTTTT!!! EXPERIENCE . When I picked up my dress from the seamstress LUZ i was the happiest bride to be LUZ made me feel beautiful and comfortable in my dress she made sure I left happy and to say when dropping off my dress I had a bad experience with the other seamstress BUT LUZ MADE IT SOOO MUCH BETTER . I HIGHLY ADVISE IF ANYONE GOES TO THIS STORE you get your dress adjusted with LUZ . She made my visit so much more better. Also I had ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH ANOTHER EMPLOYEE HER NAME IS MARISOL omgg this girl was the funniest ,happy,Great help finding things for us omggg I loveeeee her .if you ever go to this store ask for Marisol she will go far and BE ON . What a great experience for a bride .

Terrible place to trust with your dream day. I’m not even the bride🤦🏾‍♀️. When I originally went in to pay for my dress it was a mix up in the color, we phoned the bride to get everything squared away, to still receive the wrong color dress. Long story short, I wouldn’t purchase a FLOWER from David’s Bridal. Even Management is terrible to deal with along with corporate do not get yourself tied up into the bull for your perfect day.

Madi at the Westfield Stratford store made by wedding dress shopping today an ABSOLUTE dream! I went with my Mum and my matron of honour and from the moment we arrived, Madi sat down with us to chat about my experience so far, my hopes and expectations and encouraged me to try on as many dresses as I liked! As a plus sized gal, she helped me feel so confident and reassured me that they would be able to size whatever dress I liked! I tried about 7 dresses on, and for every single one Madi made me feel absolutely incredible, fetching accessories, helping me to consider features of each dress until we decided that “the one” was the first one I had tried on! She gave me so much care & attention that I was so happy to say yes to the dress! Thank you for the wedding dress shopping experience I’ve always dreamed of Madi & the team at the Westfield Stratford Store! Liv xx

I visited David's Bridal last year to try on a few dresses, there was one dress that was a potential but I was not completely convinced it. Both the sales lady and the store manager told me to buy the dress as I could return it up until the date of the wedding and that it was risk free. Again, I said I would come back, but they said the dress was going to be discontinued and I should buy it and just return it whenever and that it was a shame to miss out as it was risk free. This was confirmed by the store manager and the sales assistant many times. I was also between 2 sizes and I was encouraged to buy both - luckily I didn't. After I picked up the dress, my wedding was cancelled due to Covid with no reschedule date. I called David's bridal only to be told that their policy had 'changed' due to Covid and that no refunds could be made. When I pursued this with customer services, they absolutely denied that returns up until the wedding date had ever been the policy and proceeded to gaslight me and to say that I had 'misunderstood'. Despite me having 2 bridesmaids and my parents present throughout the whole transaction. The customer service team refused to speak to the store team despite me having both the sales manager and the store manager's business cards stapled to the receipt. Absolutely appalling customer service, a dishonest and aggressive sales team just trying to get their commission and somewhere that brides should avoid.

I bought my wedding dress at David's Bridal and I love it. However, when I purchased my dress, they only had it in ivory to try on. The veil that I absolutely LOVED only came in ivory at the time. The girl helping me said that this veil was new and there was a pretty good chance that it would come out in white, so I could order my dress in white like I wanted and order the veil later. I had plenty of time before the wedding. When I went to pick my dress up, the veil had just become available in white and to say I was ecstatic is an understatement. We ordered it right away, paid in full, and I was given a date that it would be in for about 3 months later. No problem, I had plenty of time before the wedding. At this point, I have my heart set on that veil and it was absolutely perfect. The date that my veil should have been here came and went, so I called to check on the status of my order. After being put on hold a time or two, they decided to tell me that they could no longer get that veil. I was never contacted, never called, never emailed. I had to call them only to find out that I wasn't going to get my order. How a company can just decide that they aren't going to fulfill an order paid in full and then not contact the customer is beyond me. I am beyond disappointed and heartbroken, I can't find anything that compares to that veil. Their customer service was less than helpful also, I got no where, hence why I felt the need to leave a poor review.

Both times I’ve bought dresses from David’s Bridal I wish I hadn’t! The first bridesmaid dress I bought was ordered by them in the wrong size (2 sizes too big) and when it came, they wanted to charge me in excess of £150 for alterations which was the same price as the dress! I paid for the alterations and on the day of the wedding, walking down the aisle, the button fell off, the sewn in cup fell out, the strap snapped and the brides belt that she also paid to have sewn on fell off too! The 2nd occasion, my bridesmaid dress was due to arrive in store for a wedding in April. I received absolutely no communication from David’s bridal to say where my dress was and had to source an alternative dress. The bride also ordered her dress from them which is another disaster in itself (they lost the dress, ordered a new one and again, didn’t make any communication with her either so the Bride had to source an alternative dress). We have proof of purchase for a refund for both dresses yet they are insisting that, during a global pandemic, we need to go into store to get a refund when it can simply be done over the phone as they already have the details required from when the dresses were ordered. I STRONGLY do not recommend that anybody goes to David’s Bridal because I would not want the same stressful experience to happen to anybody else.

My visit to David’s Bridal was a treat. Brandy was such a wonderful help to the bride to be and me a brides maid. She picked dresses that would flatter my full figure and made this day very easy, memorable and exciting. I’m so happy for my friend who said yes to her dress that Brandy picked just for her. We both left feeling happy and blessed with the choices we’ve made because of the help, patience and kinds displayed by Brandy.

Horrible customer service at the Blasdell, NY store. Rude and condescending from the moment we walked into the store. Needless to say we bought nothing and will never return.
