I ordered a dress for step son's wedding and it came in the mail today all wadded up and twisted in a knot around the hanger and crammed in a plastic bag!!! What is wrong with you people?!?! I would have paid extra for a BOX to ship it in!!! I will NEVER do business with David's Bridal again!

Purchased a dress to wear at my son's wedding. Instead of driving long distance to pick it up when it came in they were nice and offered to ship it to my home. I wish I would have went in to pick up. They took the dress, wrapped it around its hanger and put it in a plastic bag and shipped it. Seriously! Bag arrived with many tears in (caused by hanger) it, dirt and small snags on the dress. Who ships a dress for a wedding like that. I could deal with the bag thing but with its hanger!! I know after past experiences I shouldn't have gone to Davids Bridal. They Did Call, they did say they would make changes to the way they ship gowns, and they gave me a percentage off my dress to make it up to me.

Their return policy is ridiculous, and they take advantage of their monopoly, knowing bridal parties have no choice if the bride wants to use them. They have no incentive to improve customer service. I am not allowed to return a never-worn, unaltered dress with tags still on, because it's more than 7 days past the purchase date. This is crazy in the best of times, but no allowances at all have been made for wedding cancellations due to the coronavirus. I can't be the only person with an expensive, useless dress now hanging in her closet.

The on line customer service is not good. You have to correspond by text only. They have had my return for 8 days already and tell me it will be 5-7 ply more days for them to process the refund. The dress looked nothing like the photo. Way to much fabric for a good fit. Tried on and sent immediately back.

In July my daughter and I went to David’s bridal in Sugar land Texas and her wedding is the first week of September. We drove two hours to go to Sugarland to try on dresses and she found a beautiful dress that was on a manikin. The sales lady was very nice and my daughter at the time was six months pregnant so the sales person told her that they had someone there to do alterations. We bought the dress and came home and a month later we scheduled an appointment so that we could go have the dress altered. When the alterations lady pinned everything that she needed to alter the dress we went to the front to pay for some other items that my daughter bought and we were given a ticket saying that the alterations were $235. No one ever mentioned any cost to alterations not the sales person and not the alterations manager when we called to schedule the appointment. So we had driven another two hours to go and do the alterations, we drove two hours to go buy the dress, and now we have to drive two hours again to go pick the dress up and the frustrating part is that everyone acted like it was no big deal and the manager made it plain and clear that she was not going to deduct any money and then decided to go ahead and deduct the $35 fee for the rush on the dress. I called the corporate office and was told somebody would reach out to me within 72 hours and it has been 2 1/2 weeks and I cannot get a hold of anybody at the corporate office as I keep getting the automated machine. We chose to drive to Sugarland but if we would’ve known that my daughter was going to pay $1700 for a dress and then another $235 for alterations we would’ve bought a cheaper dress. It was upsetting because two Different people which was the sales woman and the alterations manager could have told us that there was going to be a fee for alterations but neither one of them mentioned a word.

My name is Angela and I went for appointment to Davids Bridal at Breahead on 21st of August. My stylist name was Rachel. She was such a great help! Very polite, and with great taste! After I said yes to my dress she helped me to find matching veil and I rang a wish bell! It was fantastic experience which makes me cry of happiness! Staff was such I great support. I came myself, but they done everything to help me with my choice and to feel this moment as special. I wish I could go there everyday! Thank you so much! It feels an a magic moment!

I’m SOOO DISAPPOINTED!! Im rating David’s Bridal 2 stars only because there were people who genuinely wanting and trying to help. If there weren’t people trying to help me I’d rate David’s 0 or 1. I was not expecting the horrible service and explanations for why things were messed up. I’ve used DB in the past, many of my friends have used it as well. But after this experience I’m telling my friends/family who are planning weddings now NOT TO USE David’s Bridal. 1st off I will say the girl who helped my bridesmaids and I was nice. BUT, she got the dress totally wrong for one of them. We had to send it back. THAN, my dress was the wrong size. I had to send that back as well. Then Covid hit and we didn’t know when our dresses would or even come! I ended up having to get another dress for me and my bridesmaid online Because stores were closed. They were nice but it was MY DRESS, so I settled. When It came time to return things some of the policies I personally felt were total BS. Esp because Covid happened. I felt like they should’ve changed their polices. No one asked for this to happen!! How the heck am I going to return something when the stores are closed?!!! And when you call customer service they tell you “oh, just wait until the store by you opens which will be in a month or so”. What the hell?? Even trying to do an EVEN exchange is a process!!!!!! I had so many conflicting explanations about that in 2 stores I was about to Throw my hands up to give up. Esp when I hear employees being so rude and disrespectful to the customer - example my bridesmaid. She went to the Watching, NJ. The employees were rude from start to finish. Why be in the retail industry when you customer service is horrible?! I don’t understand it! I thought David’s Bridal was suppose make YOUR day special AND absolutely wonderful? Not chaotic, stressful, and on the verge of wanting to pull your hair out. My experience with David’s spiraled itself to the point of no return. I do thank the people who TRIED TO HELP (thank you Freehold managers). But, never ever again will I use David’s bridal. And I will also NOT recommend this establishment to family or friends.

I went in to look for dresses at the store in Boise ID, and I just want to thank Kristen for being such an awesome consultant! She found me exactly what I was looking for and was even willing to stay a little extra to make sure that I was comfortable and making the right decision! She never once made me feel that I had to get a dress that same day, or that I needed to like any of the dresses I tried on; it was such a fun experience to be able to find the one and I'm glad that Kristen was there to help!
