My customer assistance inquiry regarding a broken A'Addario Power Base was addressed with lightning speed and efficiency. Hailey assessed the issue anc provided guidance for further information needed. Within just a couple of days of my reporting the problem, a replacement unit arrived at my home. I also think the replacement Power Base unit has some design and production improvements over the damaged unit. Both the cord and the frame are not as stiff and the cord winds more easily around the unit for storage and transport. I'm hopeful those improvements also extend to the unit's grounding plug prong which was not well secured within the molded plug and which pulled out in a stage outlet when the unit was unplugged. Thank you again for promptly replacing the damaged unit.

Brilliant service. I bought something from their website but made an error, so e-mailed a few minutes later to try to correct it. D'addario were so efficient they'd already sent the wrong item out to get it to me quickly, but then followed it up with an e-mail to say "We've just seen your e-mail, don't worry, we'll send the correct item out too..." and sure enough it showed up a few days later. Absolutely cannot fault them and will be happy to buy from them again in future, thanks!

Had an issue with a broken string on a new set for my guitar. Quick response and replacement of the broken string as well as included a new set as well. Outstanding customer service.

Recieved broken snare sticks, got another pair for free without even having to send broken pair back

For some reason over recent years, I’ve started to break guitar strings more regularly. I’ve had a renowned guitar luthier try to reset my guitars which slightly improved things, but didn’t stop them from breaking. And we’re talking about three different guitars and makes here. I’ve adjusted my technique the best I can and tried heavier gauge strings from the company I’d always used, but again only Slight improvements. We are talking about breakages maybe twice a week, and sometimes just minutes after fitting new and even thicker ones. Predominantly the ‘D’ and ‘B’ strings, which made me scared to even attempt a solo which sucks the life out of Expression as an aspiring player. I’m not a thrash metal or overly Angry player, and it’s been an expensive issue with no end in sight, and even out of Desperation, I was about to sell my favourite guitar which had served well for around ten years, to try another, when, Hey Presto… Enter ‘D’Addario’ NYXL. After yet more research to try and solve this, they were flagged up by ‘Google’, so I researched them versus my other well-known company, both who suggest their strings are “Unbreakable”, or words to that effect. Still sceptical, I bought a pack of D’Addario’s NYXL 11-49s, and here we are Six Months Later, and not a single string have I broken. They stay in tune fabulously, offer a Superb tone, and to the point where I’m almost Tempted to push them harder again just to see if I Can break them. I will change them now, but I was trying to see how long they’d go. I’ve restrung all guitars and can say Categorically, these are my strings of choice, and Never have I had the “Confidence” to play as I do now, having had it shattered by those constant breakages. I’ve made a point of putting out this review, because it’s been a Life-Saver for me, and I’m soon to step forward to play live, and I’d like to share this with anybody else who keeps breaking strings who having tried all else, still can’t solve the problem. These May, just do the job… Now, if you could make these to the same specification in Gold to match my hardware and black finish, that would be Guitar Nirvana, even though I know it's a little greedy… Thank You ‘D’Addario’.
