Bought the latest tech strings for a g45 Gibson acoustic guitar for £17 and got it from dowsons Belfast and after only a MONTH have already RUST on the lower E and B strings! Very poor quality strings and the store did not do anything for me!!!

I thought I would try a set of XT Phosphor Bronze 12/53 on my Taylor acoustic instead of the usual Elixirs. Rubbish quality as the ball end unravelled on both unwound stings when tuning up. Maybe just unlucky by I’ll stick with Elixir or EXPs.

I had a minor issue with a cable and contacted D’Addario. Absolutely first class client service and rapid in response. Ended up in mail conversation with the team in NYC ! Really know their stuff and really friendly and articulate as a bonus. Guitar cables excellent quality.
