These are great sounding strings. I had a small issue with my bass strings. I emailed the company with a question about it and was told what was causing my fingers to go dark after playing. Although it doesn't affect the sound at all, George is working on sending me a new set. Very easy to deal with. Dean Scott

I never leave reviews for company’s but after my experience with D’Addario I do wanna pat their back. I had gotten a set of their XS strings for my first time but they had rusted oddly quick, and although it was just a visual fault they still sound great. Anyway I wanted to email them and see if it would be a concerning problem to worry about or get any other insight. One of their representatives (George) reached out amazingly quick for a corporation and hooked me up with 2 new sets for such a minor inconvenience I had only had questions about. Definitely gained a customer for life with how I was treated and more importantly how these strings sound.

I can’t believe the attention and service I received when emailing D’Addario! I was looking for a single Low G string for my tenor ukulele. Some companies sell them separately due to the fact that they seem to break often. I was directed to George Santos for help. Instead of just telling me no, we don’t sell them individually, he went far above and beyond in helping me. I’m a newbie when it comes to ukulele but I have a number of guitars, mandolins, banjo…. There will be more D’Addario strings on my instruments. I’m blown away with your customer service!!!

I've used their products for the entire 35 years I've been playing guitar and bass. As a starting bassist, I used XL reds exclusively for many years, and various string sets for my other guitars. I had a tee shirt that I absolutely loved. This was pre- internet. Over the next several decades I continued to use many of their products as they expanded their offerings to include guitar straps (Planet Waves Satriani), clip on tuners, locking guitar tuners, capos, humidification systems for acoustic guitars, and many other things. Their products have always leaned toward the cutting edge. Collaborations with Ned Steinberger are a good example and evidence of this. And always the strings..... reliable, quality, and also affordably priced. My several interactions with the company have always been courteous, prompt, and helpful. They have earned my loyalty.

I’ve been buying D’Addario strings and other peripherals for my guitars for a long time. When I had an issue recently with a string, I wrote to the company looking for a replacement high e string. To compensate me for my troubles they, George Santos, were kind enough to promptly respond and send me two packets of strings. Rather than being frustrated with the company, I felt even better about using D’Addario. Thank you. I’ll be sticking with you.

Honestly some of the best customer service I've ever dealt with. I use Promark Sticks, Evans Heads, and D'addario strings and I know if I ever have any issues they will not only fix it but go the extra mile to make it right.
