D'Addario & Company, Inc.Reviews of daddario.com

These are some pretty sturdy guitar strings. Clean articulate sound. Accurate intonation. Durable and hard to break. And the string life is really long when you leave guitars in the case with a quick wipedown/clean.

i love d'addario, the only problem we had was a misunderstanding

I have had basically 100% positive experiences dealing with D'Addario's customer service functions. They are prompt and always do what they can to fix problems and have satisfied me as a customer. That being said, I'm under the impression the bug report in their "Gear Collection" Beta don't work properly. And the new changes to their website have created problems it appears the customer service folks can't fix on their end, but I don't think that reflects on the their department. Great overall.

I made a complaint in their regular support forum that their packaging had the wrong gauges on it based on the name of the product, and George D'Addario wrote me back. It is rather rare that a member of the family that owns the company takes the time to do so, and I truly appreciate that. That being said, it remains comically inaccurate that the strings called EJ12 (in 20-point font) are 13's (in 12-point) and the EJ12's are.... wait for it... 11's. Might want to address that in the future, George my new friend!

The new D'Addario capo fulfills many important attributes that I look for in a capo. I've had a lot of capos of different configurations and this one is better than most. I don't like a capo to be highly visible so I like the matte black finish and slim profile. Both contact surfaces register well on my different neck profiles and fingerboard widths. The tension adjustment is well machined and easy to use and it weighs next to nothing. I really want to award this 5-stars but I'm not fond of a style that protrudes forward from the top of the neck like this. I know that style is easy to grab and adjust and many people like this style, but that's not my preference. This is similar to my Planet Waves capo that protrudes back behind the fingerboard which is less visible. I've paid up to $75 for capos but the D'Addario stands its ground for fit and finish and is a 5-star for value at this price point. I like the D'Addario capo in many ways - it's a user.

First, I used to order from here and even received some swag or merch from time to time. Illness forced early retirement but I still try to play when I can. I bought my strings (double bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, fiddle, and banjo from them. Placed an order on Nov 7, 2025 and now I get email about Black Friday deals. Asked if they could adjust or do something and they credit me 200 players circle points. What happened to real customer service? It's not like a little merch complimentary would break them. Would like to say I won't be back but the truth is, I can't find any other bass strings (specifically) that are anywhere near to what they have. I'll be back... Just with lower expectations.

Gosto imenso da qualidade das cordas e optimo atendimento via mail.Muito satisfeito.
