Honestly, does CVS hire 12 year olds to work at their pharmacy? The kid with the pink hair is ridiculously rude. I said thank you. He had no response. So I repeated it. His response? Mmmhmmm. He's too busy talking about sodas that were dropped off in the break room to his fellow 12 year old coworkers. No one at the registers, I'm forced to do a job I do not get paid to do. I know this review does not matter, but damn.

The store at Newton Plaza is a disaster. CVS is supposed to participate in a program with CDPHP. There are tons of problems with the program. I checked the CDPHP paper catalogue for covered items. When I brought them to the cash register, the items were not covered. I asked the manager who said that she did not know anything about it. CVS has flags on the shelves to identify items covered by this Over The Counter Program. I brought those items to the register, but those items were not covered. The manager said that those items are covered by Aetna Insurance but not by CDPHP. However, the shelving flags don't distinguish. I checked the CDPHP online catalogue for covered items. I brought them to the register, but the register would not accept them. I went to the register and a disabled woman was in line in front of me. The casher asked me to place my items on the counter; however, I pointed out that the disabled woman was before me in line. The casher corrected me and said that the disabled woman was doing self-check out. While I was trying to check out, the disabled woman got in line behind me. No one had offered to help her at the self-check out. As I was leaving the store, the disabled woman was having problems with checking out with the cashier. The disabled woman had to wait and wait. On my CVS receipt, it encouraged me to participate in a CVS survey. I tried, but the website didn't work. Instead, It asked for my credit card number. We should all switch to Walgreen's.

Worst customer service in the pharmacy department. For multiple days and various times I have been on hold for the pharmacy without anyone answering. My doctor's office has had the same issue and has left voicemails and written documents and my script still isn't filled - it's been 2 weeks. As of this writing I have been on hold for over 50 minutes listening to frenetic music that I'm sure is designed to force the caller to hang up. Tomorrow I will show up at the pharmacy and not leave until I talk to an actual person and then have my provider change to another pharmacy and file a formal complaint. Update: same day - wound up on hold for 1 hr and 30 min! No answer. I just wanted to see how long it would take and finally gave up. Sent a formal complaint to the N. Carolina Pharmacy board and also to my insurance company who recommends CVS as a provider

Imagine receiving an automated call that your prescription is ready as a pneumonia patient. You literally jump in your car and head the 2.2 miles to the CVS. You arrive and the 4 people working the Pharmacy are getting to lock up for Lunch. No problem. Everyone deserves a break. Store is empty except maybe 2 other shoppers. I ask "can you do one more pick up before you go please?" ... answer: "absolutely not, we're closing up for lunch" ... the Pharmacist was still in the cube too so it could have been done IF CVS REALLY CARED. No policy violation would have occurred as the Pharmacist was still present as I stated. But they don't care. So here I stand waiting at the Pharmacy check out awaiting their return at 2:00PM as their "policy" stated. When I said "well that's pretty bad customer service" the one kid in his blue scrubs says "you mean I don't get lunch?" ... obviously a great listener because where did I say anything like that. Good luck CVS. If this is your future you're going to need it. For those customers reading this - definitely use Walgreens. I do and should have on this prescription. I will going forward. No Extra CARE Card needed there LOL!

I walked into CVS Pharmacy around noon today and immediately noticed that the counter person was extremely rude with 2 customer ahead of me. When I told lady I was there for a vaccine, she responded, don’t you know were are closing? She basically scolded me and you can come back tomorrow. Wondering what a change when these people used to be very friendly. Then I noticed a sign on the counter, “you are proudly being served by union staff”. Union or not, NO CUSTOMER, NO NEED FOR UNION!! REMEMBER THAT!! I will also be advising my insurance company!!

Useless website and existing coverage items made impossible to get or denied. Mail order gets switched to in store to drive traffic to the inconvenient stores that are slow and lacking.

This pharmacy has the highest prices of essentially all major pharmacies in the country! Their checkout procedure is unnecessarily long and detailed. The staff are unfriendly and seem to not care if you shop there or not! One told my wife, when she remarked on their high prices, "if you don't like it then go somewhere else"!!

The CVS Pharmacy on Monroe Street in Tallahassee could care less if you live or die! I stood at their "Consultation Window" for 10 minutes and was completely ignored. I finally walked out. Their delivery program is them sticking your script in an envelope and mailing your pills and not caring when and if you get them.
