they have a new system now and it is worthless tried to get a refill finally had to drive to the store to get done and there is no more refills so now I'll have to make another trip to get it refilled I have breathing problems if I could have called it in like before wouldn't had to be out in this heat

CVS has now implemented a new policy where you cannot talk directly with the pharmacist. You have to leave a voicemail and the pharmacist will call you back within 1 to 1-1/2 hrs. I had an important question regarding a drug that was denied insurance coverage and had to drive 30 minutes to the CVS location to speak with someone. I am moving all my scripts to Walgreens.

I got a prescription filled for my son for a controlled substance. I have never in my life counted the pills when I got a prescription filled but I did that day. I was 5 pills short. I went back to the store and they made it good. I was told about their many safeguards they have in place. But somehow, none of their safeguards caught this. They did have some type of camera system that they were able to look at when I returned to the store and knew that I was short. My son would have never convinced me or his doctor that he had not taken more than he was supposed to. This was a God moment. Always count your pills.

WARNING Do not buy Vanilla prepaid gift cards. They are literally a scam. I found out the hard way. You make the purchase, then you cant use it because the card just gets declined every time. And no, its not the scam where someone gets your info and then uses it before you can. This card literally does not work. Refer to consumer affairs online to see countless reports I called the store to let them know that they are selling a scam product and she said she'd never gotten a complaint before. I assume that most people dont think to let the source location know, they are selling a bad product. Anyways, DONT buy a Vanilla gift card, you will see the balance, but can never use it.

A prescription was called on July 1st. Cvs in Euclid on lakeshore neglected to fill it. Thank God it wasn't life threatening. I called today the 8th of July to ask why it was not fill. There was no explanation. This is totally unprofessional. This pharmacy is in decline.

I have always picked up my medication at the CVS on Tuckerman Road and Seven Locks (Cabin John location) in Potomac, MD. I have never been so frustrated in my life. The pharmacy is never properly staffed, i.e., 15 people in line/ one window opened. I have taken to just walking out, and am going to change pharmacies or go to a drive-thru CVS. At the windows--No eye contact; no one cares how many people are waiting and don't care. No pharmacy manager on duty...no STORE MANAGER on duty! I asked to speak to a manager...it took an employee 3 times to page a supervisor. Incompetent and disinterested supervisor finally came and talked over me and completely dismissed my complaint. He finally took me outside and told me to take a picture of the names of the managers....and told me to go ahead and call them! He was AWFUL. Why would I go to CVS to shop for anything, knowing that this is how this branch is run? Customer care is non-existent. Constant turnover of staff. Does anyone care that people are waiting, waiting, waiting? My husband went to the pharmacy yesterday and offered to give his place to an older gentleman on a walker who was 12th in line. You mark my words....just like every other business that did not provide customer service, CVS will eventually close. There are other ways to obtain medication. Call me-- I'm angry.

The biggest thing CVS can do is lower their prices. They give you dollar off coupons for the most useless, overpriced things they carry. When they have a sale you are lucky if the sale price is equal to the regular price at other stores.
