Received good service with CVS pharmacies during the 30+ years in various Florida cities (Orlando, Spring Hill, DeLand, Daytona Beach), including through COVID. Moved to Highland, IN and boy is the experience a total turn-around. The location on 45th Street proved a poor experience when first moving here. But the CVS on Ridge Road was excellent until recently, with the staff offering excuses for not filling prescriptions, resulting in us using Walmart pharmacy a couple of times to rectify situations. The CVS pharmacy staff offered no solution and were indignant to our medical concerns. The most recent experience had CVS claiming a doctor's office says they never received the request. This has happened on more than one occasion in the past four months. Each time, Walmart processed the order within hours. Alas, all of our scripts are going to Walmart.

CVS has adopted a horrible AI Customer…
CVS has adopted a horrible AI Customer Service, DOS, sludging doom loop of a hamster wheel. If you have a problem that falls into that category of “something else” you are put into a black hole of a doom loop. It’s frustrating dehumanizing and consequently abusive.
We were with Rite Aid our prescriptions are transferred to CVS. We got a message that they would not fill his medication until the day that he ran out (something to do with Insurance.) The only problem is we are going on vacation tomorrow for five days and he took his last pill. I finally got a customer representative to call me back and they could not find the prescription. It is on auto refill for another year. I saw the prescription on the app on his phone. We tried to have it refilled and they would not do it. We tried to talk to someone to get it done the day before so he wouldn’t run out. But no one can seem to resolve this problem. I mean he’s not gonna die but like what if it was a medication that he might die if he didn’t get it, you cancel your vacation WTF CVS.

Refills always out of stock
Requested a refill a week ago. Never in stock. I was told THREE times that it would be here tomorrow. Today the story is that the prescription is out of refills. I had the doctor send a new prescription a week ago. They can’t find it.
This failing company gives its customers all the reason to switch over to a mail order pharmacy. It’s a company you really want to hate.

Terrible Service
Most of the items in NYC store are locked. After pressing "Customer Service" button multiple times and waiting for someone to come and help, I asked passing by employees to help. None did. When I asked for a manager, I was directed to a cashier's line. I chose not to wait on another line and went across the street to Duane Reed and bought what I needed. This is not the first time I leave CVS store without a purchase. Next time I will go to Duane Reed.

To Whom It May Concern,
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an extremely distressing and unacceptable incident that occurred at your CVS store located at 5050 W Baseline Rd, Laveen, AZ (Store #5892), on July 29, 2025, around 12:00 PM.
I visited the store with my 6-year-old son to purchase a few items: a box of 4 Oreo ice creams, four 12oz sugar-free Red Bulls, and two Gatorades. We completed our purchase at self-checkout (Register #17), using Apple Pay, and I scanned my CVS ExtraCare card during the transaction. The cashier assigned was #97, and the transaction number was #6224.
Shortly after finishing, a CVS employee named Dorothy Mae came running over and demanded to see a receipt. I explained that I had opted for an email receipt, as I prefer digital copies for environmental reasons. However, before I even had a chance to access or show the email receipt, she accused me of theft, grabbed the items I had just purchased, and attempted to physically assault me and my son.
My son was frightened and visibly shaken by this unprovoked and aggressive behavior. When I tried to calmly explain and de-escalate the situation, the store manager, Monica, arrived and also engaged in verbal and physical aggression rather than resolving the issue. I was left feeling violated, humiliated, and deeply unsafe, especially with my young child present.
This experience was not only traumatic, it was completely unjustified and unacceptable. At no point was I given the opportunity to prove my purchase before being publicly accused, assaulted, and robbed of my items by a CVS employee and the store manager. This treatment was degrading, unprofessional, and threatening.
I would also like to note that I have video evidence documenting parts of this incident, which I am willing to provide upon request to support your investigation.
I am requesting a full internal investigation and that appropriate action be taken to hold the employees involved accountable. Furthermore, I would like to know what steps CVS will implement to prevent this kind of behavior from happening again, particularly toward customers who are accompanied by young children.
In addition—and I say this respectfully and sincerely—I would like to know what CVS intends to do for both me and my son to address the emotional, physical, and psychological harm this incident has caused us. This situation was deeply traumatic and will have a lasting impact on our well-being.
Please confirm receipt of this complaint and advise me on how you intend to address this matter.
Sincerely,
JD

I love CVS
I love CVS, the store are always pristine clean, people are nice, kind and helpful. An my favorite the coupons. No one can compete with the prices you pay using your coupons. They are clear, consistent and true savings for the products you buy, not for random products you will never buy. Also love the care program is your little gift from CVS every month, and they always send a coupon to your house with discounts for your total purchase for 30%. bravo CVS!!!
