I started using the CVS pharmacy at 4702 Lemmon Ave in Dallas TX in January 2025. I had been shopping intermittently at the store but had not used the pharmacy. I used them a few times and found them to be reasonably helpful. I had very few medications so I did not really have a problem. Then a situation came up where I needed input from the pharmacy so my physician could write a prescription for equipment that they carried and my insurance would pay for. They gave me the wrong information which I then gave to the physician. The result was the equipment was not covered by insurance and ended with multiple phone calls to the insurance company and my Doctor's office. Finally, after days of going back and forth, I found out that CVS had never looked up the information I had asked about. A rude pharmacy tech, who claimed to be the lead tech, told me. We just enter the information when we get an order and the insurance company pays for it are they don't. I said, if that is the case why did they not tell me that why tell me that they had what my insurance company would pay for. When the order came through they chose equipment that my insurance company would not pay for. I was then told that I did not need a prescription and I could just buy it in the store if the insurance company did not pay for it. I let her know that I did not appreciate being casually given the wrong information and having to contact the physician repeatedly. I told her I would not continue to have prescriptions filled there if they are giving out incorrect information. She said go on to Walgreens then. Rude, no apologies for giving out the wrong information. Then telling me to move on to Walgreens. Avoid CVS pharmacy! They may appear helpful at times but they cannot be counted on and may well provide incorrect information when you really need their assistance. I wish I had read the reviews before using their Pharmacy.

They are cheating customers by incorrectly applying coupons. 30% off is taken after mfg coupon and extra bucks. Mfg coupon says off 2 and they take it off one item making the 30% store coupon less value. Then, they allow up to 3 store coupons which clearly state per item. I bought 3 items and they took all 3 coupons off the same item. Ended up they cheated me out of $5.12. Cashier could not correct. Beware and report on store survey and here.

CVS changed its phone system again. No calls go to a human, to a voicemail, or anywhere. 20min of AI yapping, followed by hanging up. Useless.

CVS in Attleboro, Massachusetts among others I am sure has rolled out a new automated voice system using AI. IT IS BEYOND TORTURE TO USE. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s office because I do not believe it is legal for them to transcribe your voicemails and attached to your customer profile without giving you notification of them doing this. CVS clearly does NOT care about customers. This new AI system takes FOREVER. DIFFICULT TO USE. Need a damn Ouiji board as I lay odds this would be more efficient in easily ordering what I need. Working to transfer my rx to a “mom and pop style pharmacy”

We’ve been getting shots at the same CVS for 6 years. But CVS makes it impossible to sign in because they send a QR code to the same device I’m using to sign in with. How the heck do I scan the code with the same device? Impossible. No wonder their stock is down.

I submitted a review of an individual that I thought was a manager, she was not. I went into the store a few days later and was introduced to the manager. She explained that the person I dealt with was a cashier. The manager turned out to be an excellent representative of CVS. She was kind, understanding and insisted on making my situation correct. I told her that with some additional help the cashier would do a better job going forward. The manager's name is Faye and she manages the store located at 7030 Jog Rd in Lake Worth, I wish I had not made an assumption that the person I dealt with initially was the manager. I was frustrated and therefore I submitted a review that was not accurate

Rude workers at the pharmacy itself. Very rarely good worker, and they are very rare that, You cannot even see them regularly. Unprofessional pharmacy managers that talking behind its own team, yelling, screaming at the workplace. No matter how much stressful is the workflow, no morales or ethics is visible that hurts its professionalism. Anyway, You have to see it in order to digest it. Incompetent and lack of empathy , so called workers not making me feel valued and have yo visit there. No problem, always good to have sn alternatives.
