When you just got back from the dentist and you are in pain and you look like you are sick, they treat you like you are a bum. The employees don't smile and lack the attitude as a service workers. The African American casher was extremely rude!

Don't appreciate being BULLIED BY THE PHARMACIST. Sorry I couldn't get it through my thick head. Pharmacy takes it upon themselves to change out my medication and doesn't feel the need to contact the patient. Patient picks up medication - which has a totally different name - does research on the two separate drugs and clearly there are differences in the way the drug is metabolized. But no when I tried to speak to the Pharmacist I was spoken to as if my preference didn't matter. It was only more convenient for them to use something different. I walked in there and gave them the medication back - as I refuse to accept the change. I'd rather not take it then take a substitute for their conveneience. This sends a loud and clear message the pharmacist at this location could care less about patients, customers... LIVES. Only about their own convenience. And maybe just maybe they won't admit to their mistakes. If I could give this place a -10 I would. This review resonates perfectly and consistently with the rest of the reviews posted here about this CVS Location.

Don't get tested at CVS. I was tested on 7/3, 9 days later and still no results. What's the point? I have to assume the test is useless at this point. I'm sure they got paid by the state for administering the test. Don't try to call them, after a hour on hold I hung up. I hope my test didn't get lost or damaged by the overstuffed deposit box. Disappointed to say the least. Update- it is 7pm, July 14th and I'm still waiting for test results. It's unfortunate that a person could be dead and buried before getting test results. Update: test results were available late night on the 14th. I had to keep checking the Mychart app. I was not notified in any way. So I quarantined myself for two weeks and tested Negative. Good luck everyone.

On July 2 the CVS web site indicated a 2-4 day wait for COVID test results. The test was a drive thru DIY. Today is jul 11 and we STILL DO NOT HAVE RESULTS! CVS can't be reached and while the current surge in cases justifies a delay, the site now say 5-7 days. If you call and get thru after 2 hours on hold, they will tell you that doesn't include weekends or holidays. By all means, DO NOT trust CVS with your important COVID testing.
ALWAYS OUT OF S.
The CVS Pharmacy on Center Ave. PGH PA is always out of certain prescription drugs. It’s dangerous and means someone isn’t doing there job. It is a controlled substance for a 81 year old. But because it can’t be TRANSFERRED the person will surfer GREATLY one it’s Saturday and no one to call. How is it transferred when the prescription will go to the nearest cvs, since it’s whoever orders your inventory who is responsible for it not being available. And don’t say it’s because of COVID19 because this is not the first second or even third time this has happened, so he will suffer needlessly or spend hundreds of dollars for the ER when CVS DID NOT DO THERE JOB...THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS. I WILL BE USING GIANT EAGLE FROM NOW ON.....anywhere but cvs been using cvs before it was cvs when it was called Super X drugs is how long. But no more. Thank you and GOOD BYE

I’m so frustrated with CVS. The online service has always been bad, but now it’s horrible!! I placed an online order on 6/30/20. I checked the status about a week later and it hadn’t progressed past online order placed. I wanted to talk to someone and after an extremely long wait a representative came answered the call and she explained that my order would be processed and probably go out the next day or so. Well a few days went by and I checked on my order - It hadn’t been shipped! I called CVS again and waited on hold for an extremely long time again and I spoke to a rep who was extremely condescending and rude. She told me there’s nothing they can do - it’ll go out when it goes out!! basically the implication was just shut up and take it, so I hung up. I checked on my order - absolutely nothing has happened and to top it off you can’t get a hold of anyone to talk to!

CVS employees need to be told that the people buying prescriptions are paying their salary. CVS discriminates against sick people. When you are ill and go into the store i.e. you just got back from the dentist and your are in pain and you look like you are sick, they treat you like you are a bum. The employees don't smile you never hear a " Hope You Feel Better Soon". Have a better filing system for prescriptions as they frequently fill out prescriptions and then can't find it. Stop treating people like criminals because their doctor give them a prescription. Maybe CVS needs to sit down with some doctors and nurses and get some advice on how to treat people in a more caring way because you go to your doctor or nurse and get excellent professional care and then you go to CVS and you are treated like a criminal.
