Read the membership agreement before you sign anything!! Your membership automatically renews after your contract is up without having to notify you. Crunch also has the ability to raise your price once a year without notifying you. Verbal cancellations are NOT honored, if the employee you spoke to says they will cancel your membership and they forget to do anything or document anything YOU are obligated to continue payments and you will NOT get a refund. To cancel, give them written notice or send a written notice via certified mail so there is documentation. The customer care phone number listed online is not in service. The cancellation line is outsourced to India and has odd and inconsistent scheduled work hours. Good luck getting a refund because as of July 1 no one, either at the local gym or the number given to you for refunds and cancellations, are "authorized" to do so. Also if you cancel your membership keep in mind there is a 30 day notice, so you will be charged double for your last month of service. By all means go to a different gym!! Crunch is a slimy corporation who makes their money by using impossible membership agreements and conditions paired with poor communication making dealing with them nearly impossible. Please learn from my mistakes and use a different gym. They stole $167.93 from me, it got to the point I had to change my credit card number just so I wasn't continually robbed.

Terrible experience. They charge multiple late fees, I called and changed the card in my account to a different one knowing my annual fee was coming up. They charged the monthly and the annual on the same day on the card I specifically asked to be removed. I had an overdraft fee from my bank as well as late fees from them, going to have to pay $250+ to leave this trash gym. Staff is clearly unhelpful and unconcerned about doing the job correctly. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I like this gym and the people who work there. However, I was charged 2 times for my annual fee and the general manager refuses to refund the extra charge. I even showed them the photos taken of both charges directly out of my account. They keep claiming they refunded it. They didn’t. I am upset about this as I have been trying to get this resolved for weeks now. I am extremely disappointed with the way this was handled.

Moved to an area without a crunch near me I tried cancelling membership before I left my area they gave me the run around finally was able to get to someone to cancel membership but they are charging me a months fee for doing so the gym is trash and the people that run it are shady will never go to this place again

If I could give zero stars I would. I signed up for training sessions and they were going great until I got a shoulder injury. I had to freeze my sessions for 3 months. My shoulder was still not better so my Dr wanted to try physical therapy. Before I could started I got Covid. I was very very sick for two weeks. I called Crunch and let them know I needed to cancel my sessions. They asked me to send a detailed email with a Dr. note which I did on 7/23. My freeze was up on 8/12. I checked today to make sure my email was received because I heard nothing. The manager said he received nothing from me and they were charging $200 today. I was shocked and asked for what, he said for unfreezing the account. I didn’t even use any services how is this fair? I said just cancel, he said you will still get charged. I do not understand how this is fair if you have an injury and an illness that you have documents for how you can be charged. This gym is awful!

Just a heads up… do not sign up for a membership at Crunch Fitness in Lancaster! I was a member for a few years and my membership was month to month. When I went to cancel my membership today they hit me with a bunch of fees and wouldn’t budge or be considerate at all even though I wasn’t in a contract. I had to pay almost $100 to leave this gym. Will never join again 🤦🏻‍♂️ (Also, reviews are turned off on their FB page so that’s saying something)

as soon as we arrived at the gym we realised that it is not for us. Staff are forcing to be polite, friendly. equipments are not fantastic. Atmosphere and vibe there feels very “strange”… very small spaces with lots of members which can be overwhelming …. Variety Fitness Classes are very limited, however, for what they offer and what they are asking is quite fair for the fees structures. It is just not for us and we prefer to pay more to another higher end fitness centre.
