Have been a member for many years and jack up charges from 120 to 195$
Say that if I upgrade phones I can have discount forever??!!
Can't trust these people over 3 yrs and know it's up that much for 2 phones I own and one I will pay off and find a real carrier. No loyalty after you are a customer. Oh and the 195$ is for.only 9gb.

Used them for 8 years.
Used them for 8 years.
Service was always spotty, but it was acceptable.
However, when I tried to leave things got ugly.
Their billing is an absolute mess. Their system automatically charged me for April when I canceled my account several days before. I pushed and fought with them to get that money back, but they would only give me back about 20% as "we're paying you back what you didn't use".
No, hell no. That's theft.
Stay away, far away. They preach to be different but they will throw you for a spin and take away your money just as bad as any other phone company.

The company is backwards
I actually worked for this company and they are not liberal or even supporting the causes they claim to be. I was a customer service representative and my supervisor was a trump supporter who enjoyed hunting animals. He would make you feel bad if you were a democrat. Oh yeah AND he was also homophobic. Company is backwards and does nothing but lie to it’s customers.

There's a reason this company has their google reviews, Facebook reviews turned off, tagging on Twitter off. Their service is awful.
In February of 2017 I contacted them, a few weeks after getting my phone, and explained I live in a suburban area near NYC with cell towers all over, I should be getting more than 1 bar. Credo put me on hold, did some things, then kept me captive for over an hour having me shutting off the phone, boosting signal again, coming back, calling back, changing settings, etc. etc. etc. After all was said and done, they said they can't make it better. If I want to leave I have to pay for the contract since it's been over a week or so. I was in no position to do so.
I called back a year later to see if I can get out of the contract but again, no way. They said they would boost the signal and do the whole process over again, BUT THEY ALREADY TOLD ME THAT WAS ALL THEY CAN DO, so I said I don't have time for that.
Then recently, I drove to New Jersey for a memorial for my mom that passed. The service dropped. They left me stranded and lost in the middle of the night. And it wasn't good.
I ended up paying off my monthly bill and leaving for Verizon. Now they are charging me for the rest of the contract in spite of me putting up with bad service for two years. Their excuse was that I used my phone often. Sure I did, I work at home. I used my phone in spite of never ever getting full bars no matter where I was, NYC, Jersey Shore, Florida, SC, etc. etc.
Even though they told me they did everything they could to give me a signal, then made me pay a fortune to go elsewhere because I wouldn't stop and have each operator do the same process that the first one did (shut off phone, blah blah blah). Like I have time to do this each and every time you don't want to release me from the contract.
I paid my bill and I hope nobody else falls into this non-progressive company's overpriced contract.
I'm paying $50 less a month, fantastic service, and 2 more gb of data than my Credo Contract. Hell I could now donate to MORE causes with my savings.

I signed up for credo early this year
I signed up for credo early this year. For two months I struggled to hear calls. I notified company of my problem. After hours on the phone and many different people, I was told at first that our phones were defective and then that there was no credo coverage! So I was sold a service they could not provide. I am now battling with a collection company working to recover phone costs. They, of course, refused to take back phones as I had asked. If this is how a “progressive” company is run, I want no part of it.

After Ten Years I Have Lost All Confidence in Then
I was a Credo customer for 10 years. They were great but during this last year the quality of customer service has greatly diminished, e.g., it takes 35 to 45 minutes to get through to a service rep and they have just refused to honor a phone warranty--one which they had documented as legitimate. They no longer act in a way that is consistent with their liberal position. They have made the bottom line more important than keeping their word to an honored customer. They are no longer the company they were. I no longer trust them.
