When I bought my washer/dryer in 2020
When I bought my washer/dryer in 2020, I was told that I would have the option of paying over time with interest or 12 mos. interest free. When I received my first statement, Interest was tacked on and they told me after that I didn't qualify for the interest free. Had I know that I would never have bought the appliances. Moving forward, I'm making my payments on time and paying more than the minimum, and I call again after noticing my principal isn't coming down. Low and behold they tell me that its the interest that's driving my balance. I question that because I made a $160 payment which reduced my balance, then several days later I go online and notice that my balance is reduced by only $50! Today I'm suppose to make my regular payment and My balance is showing an Increase of $162?? I called Customer services and the agent is telling me that its the interest that is raising my balance. I explain that my APR is 36.96 and there is no way that equates to the $162 increase? I went to the store and the store manager could not explain why such variations?? I will never buy from them again!!
