Conn's HomePlusReviews of conns.com

Conn's is a huge rip-off I bought a washer and dryer was supposed to be 800 for the set they charged me $1,500 and then 2000 more in interest carrying fees in insurance you cannot log on to their website they make sure of that please don't ever buy anything from Conn's offs as you can see from the other reviews it's not going to get any better also the washer and dryer has never worked the way it's supposed to work they know this when they sell this s*** to you they're just rip offs hopefully someone will get them shut down

If I could give them no stars that's what I would do. This company is ridiculous. I bought a refrigerator from them with no interest for 12 months. With covid and me not working I still was able to make my monthly payments on time. I had no knowledge that when the 12 months were up, the would add all the interest to my balance. Mind u, there is a whole pandemic and I can't remember to put my mask on. How in the hell would they think I would remember when my 12 months was approaching. I will not buy another piece of furniture from them in life. That's on everything. Very unsympathetic. Go out of business soon..

STAY AWAY!!!! Horrible experience! They charged me 18% interest compounded monthly (which was never explained to me), and sold me a defective computer. They had the NERVE to try to charge me a $60 "restocking fee" to return a set of headphones that I (mistakenly/admittedly purchased the wrong one) Restocking fee?? I only had it for less than a day and kept all the packaging!!!!!! Then, after 1 hour of arguing with them, they finally decided to send the computer to a tech to fix it. I got it back 3 months later. AND, I STILL had to make the payments each of those 3 months! Conns is a TOTAL CON JOB!!!

I purchased a microwave and TV from Conn's HomePlus along with an extended warranty. When I called customer service they advised me I would have to bring it to one of their local stores due to the size of the TV (43") I dropped it off on a Saturday and they were not able to send a service technician to the store for over a week and a half. They also had the address information listed incorrectly in their system and when I called the store they said it's out of their hands and to call service, which I did. Once the technician arrived to the store, he supposedly contacted the manufacturer who said the issue wasn't covered under their warranty. When I purchased the extended warranty, the sales person lead me to believe that ALL damage and repairs were covered and if they could not fix the TV they would replace it. None of this happened. In fact, the manufacturer said they never received any phone calls from the tech at the store in regards to my TV and the serial number they had listed on my account was missing a vital digit so they could not have called the manufacturer as they stated. Each person at Conn's I spoke to gave me a different line of B.S. and I have requested a refund on my extended warrantee. Every one shrugged responsibility, played dumb and gave me misleading information throughout. I suggest NEVER purchasing anything from Conn's HomePlus

Conn's accessed my credit sent me a card without my permission. Which a credit thief got out mail and now I can sue conn's. Remember there just here to con you out your money.

Please RUN... The interest rate is ridiculous!!!!! Even if you try to pay off early after 3 month you will still be paying over 1k in interest. I will never purchase another item from Conns...

I will NEVER buy from this company again. More than 3 years later I'm somehow still paying on a couch that started falling apart a year in and the tv remote stopped working and they would not even replace it. Furniture is so cheap and the warranty is a joke. By the time I pay off the items I would've paid more than triple the price! Interest on financing if you aren't able to pay of within the first year is outrageous. They are a total rip off as their name suggests. Looking back at my payment history, I also question whether they even applied all of my payments as the balance is still really high and have been paying for over 3 years now! Also refinanced last year to lower my monthly payments and they assured me that there would be no negative impact on my credit from doing this, and that ended up being a total lie. They reported my account as delinquent after it was already supposed to be switched over to the new refinanced account! When I called them on it, they basically just said "oops, sorry.. the representative forgot to report the changes".. they did not even try to rectify the situation. So at this point they have screwed me over every way possible. Don't waste your money. Stay away from Conn's!

My mom wanted a new fridge and heard of Conn's so on March 12th 2021 she found and purchased a Samsung bottom freezer with extra drawer and side by side doors with water and ice in the door and a peek a poo door on the right. Well it was to be delivered and set up with water line to icemaker connected by the delivery person. Fisrt of all the delivery person had a trainer with him to "TRAIN" HIM on how to do this. The trainer pulled up a Utube video on his phone to train the delivery person how to remove and reinstall the doors and drawers as to get it threw the door at our home. Simple right? WRONG!!!! I was working on my utility trailer so not present while all this happened but when I got home at 1730 the fridge was in the kitchen and a alarm was going off on the fridge. Nice right 😤 plus the peek door on the right fell off when I opened it up. I got on ladder and looked at it and found it was not connected all wires were left out exposed and the panel was off. Now still listening to alarm go off every five minutes. I called Samsung Warranty and got a appointment for Tuesday. Remember it's not Samsung's fault. Called Conn's and they can't get anyone out until Monday. Remind you I still have a alarm going off every 5 minutes and no workable fridge. My parents are in there 70's and these 2 installers/ delivery men left our home with the fridge like this and went where ever they had to be. Now is that how you conduct business. The store was still opened for business when I called to complain yet they couldn't or wouldn't do anything before Monday? I will not revisit, recommended or make excuses for a business that treats there customers, especially senior citizen customers in thus manner. So now I am paying out of pocket to have a local appliance repair company to come out on Sunday March 14th to properly install doors on fridge and connect the waterline for icemaker. Don't purchase anything from Conn's. You'll regret it! If I could add a picture to this review I would because I do have plenty.
