Conn's is an absolute joke! I order a bed back in January of 2021- right after Christmas. I placed my order online and the product came fairly quickly. When it arrived at my house it was put up by the delivery team but it was damaged in multiple places. At this point, the guys told us there was nothing they could do that we would need to contact the home store closest to us.. which we did. Mind you we never were given the opportunity to sign paperwork stating we accepted it, checked it, nothing. They told us it didn't matter and we didn't have to. The home store that is 45 minutes from our home and the closest one to us, told us that they would order a new one from the warehouse and it would be delivered to us. These were on backorder for quite some time which I understood, right after Christmas- I didn't fuss. Over a month later, we still didn't have a bed. Nor could anyone give me answers. Months and months later, many many phone calls and emails later I still have no bed. Not only that they informed me, I would be "in legal trouble" if I didn't pay them. I refused to pay thousands of dollars for a broken bed in which they refused to make right. It was scheduled to be delivered on many occasions, where they would call and say "oh it was damaged again" and the last time (memorial day weekend) they didn't even call- they didn't show up in the 4 hour time frame they gave me so I called to see where they were and they told me it was damaged when it arrived and someone should have called me. At this point I asked them to not worry about the bed, please discount my total price and redo my payments which they assured me they would do. Weeks later, here I am again. Harrassed for payment, no bed, no changes, nothing. When I called, they told me they had no notes in the system of this. One guy actually proceeded to laugh and raise his voice at me, yelling that it was all my fault because I refused to answer the phone. Which is quite ridiculous, considering they make you confirm over phone, text, and email (3 ways of communication) that someone over the age of 18 will be at the delivery spot. I will never in my life order from Conn's ever again and I hope that for everyone elses' sake- they don't either.

16 minutes agoNEW My son purchased a Samsung dryer in February from Conns in Cottonwood Mall. It worked for 4 days. I have talked to store manager several times to replace dryer they said I had to go through service department. Waited al day for someone to show up to fix dryer. They never showed up. When I called they said no one was in my area so had to go through third party. Still no working dryer. My son pays every two weeks on time for a dryer that doesn't work. Talked to store manager several times and corporate and still nothing . I guess they just dont care as long as they get their money . Im furious 1000.00 dollar clunker. Ridiculous.

They advertise all these special sales that they'll give you promo gift cards but it's a Sham! Empty promises (Deceptive Business Practices). They're like loan sharks. Don't call them back if you have an issue because they'll tell you.. "Oh, that's above and beyond our level so we can't help you... Sorry". Just stay away. I would give half a star if I could.

I recently went to Conns to purchase a stove. The day I signed my contract I signed a contract for 23.00 per month. Stove came everything was good. Until the day 3 weeks later when I had a payment taken out of my acct. from a place I didn't recognize in the amount of 168.00. I contacted Heather the lady who I signed my contract with. Only for her to say that they couldn't get me approved for the 23.00 mo. Contract so therefore they set me up with Preferred Leasing then proceeded to send me a new contract to sign . I told her I wasn't gonna sign one for 168.00 for 24mo. That wasn't the agreement. So I told her to come get their stove. Have not heard back from them at all. Also Heather was did honest when speaking to the customer service agent at Preferred Leasing.

Warning! Do not purchase online! They will steal your money. CONN'S the name says it all. They are lying crooks. I purchase some pedestals online to find my card credit was charged- but the sale didn't go through. I called the number to find out what's going on... and decided to do the sale through a live person. Yes... we have them, Yes... you can pick them up. How many do you need? I need two- one for the washer and one for the dryer. OK, you'll get a email- thank you. I get the email for only one pedestal! (insert curse word here)! He asked me how many, why only one? That's another charge on the credit card. So once again, I call back.. Please, just sell me two pedestals (I'm begging to give them money now) and they take it. Yes, in stock, yes you need two, Yes, Yes, Yes. I get home and your order was cancelled... (insert curse word here)! I call them and we only have the damaged units... Who does your inventory? Why is it still on your web page (still there as I type this a day later) Look- just go somewhere else! Don't fall for the CONN.

This was by far the worst time of my life. Buyer beware. I purchased a brand new Samsung refrigerator. They came out after the purchase to bring me the refrigerator When they hooked it up they did not use the new waterline for the ice maker likely purchased they hooked it to the existing one. They told me they couldn't do that at the store so we had to buy a new one. They had to take the doors off the refrigerator in order to get it through my front door in my house. But when they put it back On They left screws out that covered the hinges and just laid the covers over the hinges not a real big deal until you looked at the refrigerator and you've seen that the doors did not lineup. I didn't really worry about that as much because I do know how to take care of that 2 days after that yes 2 We had to replace everything in the refrigerator because the refrigerator would not get cold the freezer did not work at all the refrigerator did not work at all other than the light inside they were kinda nice. I called back cones and got nowhere I called the store I spoke with the manager here in mesquite Texas that was a joke. I finally got a hold of someone in the corporate office and that was hard as hard can be Then they set up an appointment to have the repair guy came out of which the store cancelled the appointment. They said that they have no responsibility because I did not buy the extended warranty. The customer service of conns is a joke They have them there for no other rason other then to appease their customers. I paid this off on a settlement I lost big time I paid for something that I couldn't use or didn't work. And still getting collections from them. I called their collection department thing today and the girl went off on me. I really don't know what these people's problem are but I'm telling you if you use conns. Be careful you have been warned. I will never step foot into their store again these people are rude these people are inconsiderate and these people do not help you in any way shape or form after the purchase they could care less about you just give him the money Like I say you have been warned

I purchased a stove that had all that I would ever need or want on a Wed after the manager checked to make sure it was in stock, w/delivery to be on Sat. I would have to call @ 8 a.m. on Fri to arrange a delivery time. I did all of this. 2 hrs later the salesperson calls to say that my stove isn't in stock until 2 wks later than promised. Normally, this probably isn't a problem, but mine wasn't working at all & was given to a friend who wanted to try to fix it. I told salesperson I had nothing to cook on & could I'll afford to pay for all our meals @ restaurants let alone any place like McDonald's as we live on a Social security check! Was told I could drive to Houston & pick one up & then deliver it myself & install it! Or wait till another week had passed & pick it up from store & same w/me delivering/installing. I'm over 65 & disabled & my husband is 74 & partially disabled! No way is this possible! They don't have anyone @ the store who can or will deliver. I was offered a 10% amt back. Not even an apology! So we rent a trailer & go to pick up the stove & my 10%...got them to put stove in trailer & low & behold..no gas line! Got that cost back too. Can't wait to see what's missing when box is opened! Hoping I can find some neighbors who won't mind helping. Worst experience EVER!! If it was there when I pd for it, where the heck did it go? And why! No answers were given. I will never step foot in a Conn's again!

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with anything. They have the worst people working for them. They are con artists at this place. I would not recommend Conns to my worst enemy. Please, if you don’t want to pay double the price for your item(s), stay away. You’ll save lots of money, and hassle. I’ve been paying on my labtop for a year and a half and they’re constantly adding money so that I could keep paying them more money. They are scamming, and very unprofessional.
