City DiscoveryReviews of city-discovery.com

Provided interesting group tours for solo or small group travellers at a reasonable price without having to engage private tours.

We arrived with minutes to spare and the tour guides were organized and easily identifiable at our meeting place. They promptly checked us in, introduced themselves, gave our group instructions and boarded our bus. Within minutes we were off. We had taken an Hop On Hop Off tour the previous day, yet with the tour guide's help, we learned even more about the city that we found to be more helpful than HoHo. Soon the bus got quiet as the lull of the motor and gentle motion of the bus put most of us to sleep. When we woke, we were close to our destination. First stop was Montserrat, as picturesque as one can imagine. We had a short visit with the black Madonna, took in the sights and did a quick stop at the gift shop. We then headed over to the winery. It was a short 30-minute ride, arriving into a beautiful small castle surrounded by vineyards. The tour was short, but informative. As a Californian, wine tours here are a dime a dozen, but this tour showed new wine making techniques that we got to sample later on. We were given plenty of opportunities to take pictures, enjoy the sights and ask questions. Soon, we were lead into a private room for wine and tapas. All were excellent pairings and we flew home with a few bottles of wine and beer. Yes, they also make beer!! Stuffed and buzzed, we walked the vineyards, took more pictures and boarded the bus for a short nap. We were back at our meeting point in no time ready to enjoy the rest of our trip. Highly recommend this tour!

Good service.. i've booked excursion in advance and had now problem with it... everything was well organized... i recomend to use it

A Good experience, need to be connected with customers providing them local agents details and really need to get to be connected with a professional agents.

We booked our tours online in advance, so everything was very easy. We booked a tour in Rome and Venice. Loved both! The guides were very nice, informed, answered questions. I would highly recommend booking with this group. I know I will in the future. Thank you for making our vacation just that much more fun. Sharon Trnka

Buying the voucher was easy and the price is convenient. The problem in any situation is that the voucher needs to be exchanged into proper ticket at the London Eye office. The voucher explains this in clear terms, which is positive. However, this means one more queue. London Eye, including the ticket office, is always very busy. The more disappointing for me was that I was under the impression I bought a ticket with Fast Entrance (both the accompanying message and the voucher stated that), but in fact it was a Standard Ticket, so I needed to join the big queue. The two queues together increased my waiting time almost beyond what was justified by the cheaper price.

Excellent tour. Wish we had had time for the full day. The company were very helpful and accommodating and replied quickly to our emails. Our guide was punctual (early, in fact), the van was clean and comfortable and the provision of water was very welcome. Not being on a bus tour, we felt a lot less rushed. Toledo is a beautiful place and definitely worth a visit. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

My experience with City Discovery was great! When I purchased one of the guided tours I received my vouchers immediately. I happened to run into this website by chance and I am so happy I did. I will definitely book future guided tours through them.
