Some years before, by mistake I booked a tour for a date I would not be able to attend due to a different schedule. This company did not refund the prepayment. Though this was my mistake, I would not trust them for future tours.

If you want to pay for the same thing twice, then City Discovery is the company for you also operating as Veltra. We paid and received a email with conformation of our tickets for Camp Nou in Barcelona. The idea was to "skip" the queue. Don't bother, there was no queue and our email which had an "attachment" that could not be opened on our home computer, our mobile phones or by the staff at Camp Nou, was not valid, so we had to pay again. The Company refuses to refund our money and I will be sure to blog about them on every site, I can find. It is a pity, I can't add an attachment here, as you can clearly see, what I mean about this dubious company.

Tour cancelled and no refund We booked and paid for 4 eiffel tower skip the line tickets for my twin daughter's 14th birthday treat. We waited and waited....but no tour guide appeared. Eventually the next tour group leader arrived, who said there had been a mix up and if we contacted City Discovery we would receive a full refund. NOT TRUE. Six months and many, many emails later they are denying that the tour was cancelled and refuse to refund the (huge) ticket prices. Update: Thanks Trustpilot After this review was published City Discovery got in touch (see below) and have finally refunded the money. Which is a relief, but shame that it took this long and more than 10 emails from their Travel Consultants telling me that the 'activity was normally facilitated'

Stinksauer!! Zum Hochzeitstag habe ich meinen Eltern eine Reise nach Barcelona geschenkt. Da mein Papa absoluter Fußballfan ist, haben wir über ihr Portal eine Tour durch das Camp Nou Stadion gebucht und natürlich auch direkt bezahlt. Nun stehen meine Eltern vor verschlossenden Türen!!! Die Mitarbeiter lassen Sie nicht rein, sagen sie bräuchten einen Code zum Einscannen. Wir sind allen Anweisungen gefolgt, haben die E-Mail Bestätigung wie gewünscht ausgedruckt. Auf der Mail befindet sich kein Code, kein Anhang, NICHTS. Ende vom Lied ? Der Eintritt musste vor Ort erneut gezahlt werden. Wie siehts mit einer Erstattung aus ??? Können sie sich den Fall bitte angucken ??

Booking was I thought easy, After falling sick & unable to get out of bed we were unable to go on the adventure up the Eiffel Tower so we tried to claim the cost back but they would'nt give us our money back. So disappointing.

A big ripoff, they canceled our tour without notifying us, they said they called my cell phone but I have no record. We were at the right location at the right time but no representative came to notify us. We planned for years for this trip and they said they would only repay 25%. if they canceled the trip they didn't accrue any lost of funds. So why are they keeping our money? Do Not be taken in by this ripoff company.

We had a voucher for vatican museums, sistine chapel and st. Peters. Unfortunately, we miss the meeting point. But we were at the entrance of the vatican museum at right time and for more than an hour, we were trying to contact with them so they give us some information about how to find our guider inside!!! 4 times they hang up the phone to us, giving us no solution! I have been at their office at vittorio E. Orlando str. They have been told us to pay again for tomorrows group 20% off Just because they cant do their job right and well inform the people ( such as the group name is another than city discover, where should we know??? And how to meet your guider if you are lost). Mails, calls, no answer back! my worst choice ever!! and of course they should refund the money... not to mention one lost day in the city! A phantom office... no one replies...

I wish I had checked on here before booking. I e-mailed the company a few days before my experience was about to take place enquiring as to where the tour ends as it didn't specify on my voucher. They responded saying that the tour isn't happening at all! If I hadn't have e-mailed in the first place I would have been left stranded in the middle of London waiting for no one. I urge you not to book through this joke of a company! Oh and please don't respond to this review City Discovery with your useless, generic message of how you're going to investigate the issue like you do for everyone else that complains about your shoddy service! You will only embarrass yourself further.
