Covid Test Accepted by Italian Government, but not paid out by Cigna
Tested positive to Covid at home. As per Italian law had to have a Farmacy test to confirm. Farmacy sent results to the Italian Ministry of Health. Was required to take a second test in 7 days. Both tests cost 15 Euros each. Both costs were denied by Cigna - because they said i did not have a Doctors prescription for the test. In Italy it is not necessary. If i had of gone to my local Doctor, it would mean sitting in a waiting room (First come, first served basis), with up to 15 people in the waiting room. With Italy having one of the highest rates for death due to Covid, and as my results were accepted by the Italian Government, you would think Cigna would pay for the tests. When i complained a second time, i didnt even receive a response. Plus dont get me started on a 180 Euro refund limit for glasses!
