These people sold me health insurances without making me aware of something called 'Deductables' Which basically means they cover you for nothing unless your expenses exceed €550 a year. Im sure they said it in their salesman jargon but when your new to all this your not going to know. Definitely not effectively communicated to me. I am trying to cancel right now as I am in my cooling off period and noone is responding. I mean when you drop over 2K on health insurance you'd think they would at least assign a customer support agent to you? Instead you wait a minimum of 30 minutes on hold. They play phone ping pong with you between Dubai and India.

He pedido información para contratar una póliza dental y no han sabido darme la información de los precios de los servicios de los dentistas. De 10 compañías que he preguntado, Cigna ha sido la única que no me ha dado los precios y me dice que cada dentista tiene su precio. La atención al cliente es nefasta. PD: al final me llamó un comercial y me dio la información que necesitaba, pero es una pena que con la buena reputación que tiene esta empresa , no se le da buena formación a los agentes comerciales o que esos mismos comerciales , no quieren aprender y solo quieren cobrar su sueldo sin importar ni la empresa ni el cliente.

My main problem has been trying to cancel the insurance after we obtained other health insurance. I followed all the steps - emailed to cancel over a month before the policy was set to renew. Had an exit phone call with their representative and got an email from Cigna confirming the cancellation. Then the day it was set to cancel they took a payment and said it had auto renewed for another year. The representative ignored my request for help, billing dept did not respond to my email and the worse thing of all is last year I had also tried to cancel but at the time they told me I was too late in the request. So I already paid for one year I didn’t need and now they are attempting to extort my account for a second year. Please be very wary of signing on with Cigna and know it is very difficult to stop when you no longer need them.

Me han denegado el reembolso alegando excusas que no están en las coberturas. Lo mejor es que luego he seguido lo que me han dicho y me lo han vuelto a denegar. Tengo grabadas las conversaciones donde se puede probar perfectamente que me aseguran unos requisitos y luego cuando pides reembolso te lo deniegan.

Llevamos desde el año 2008 con el seguro de salud de Cigna y en estos años ni un problema siempre que lo necesitamos que fueron muchas veces. Sentimos mucho tener que dejarlo por cuestiones que no van al caso.

To my surprise, I spent an hour trying to learn if my Cigna health plan covered gym memberships as a preventative measure. The first call to Cigna Medical customer support went smoothly and took about 15 minutes. The rep referred me to Cigna's fitness program and provided their number, which I called. I went through all the auto prompts and then was put on hold. I was on hold 15 minutes without any help from customer service or anyone. So I called Cigna Medical customer support back and explained what happened. The representative said she would attempt to coordinate a response with her colleagues and I was put on hold. The rep checked back once to say she was still on the line, thenI had to check to see if she was still on the line. After being on hold again for a long time there was still no answer to my question and so I let the rep know I was disconnecting. It was startling to learn such a straightforward yes or no question - does my health plan provide gym membership support - would remain unanswered after an hour on the phone.
