I wasn’t site about this company because of so many of these company’s claim to be legit when they aren’t. My experience was very positive and I am SO THANKFUL I decided to chose them after looking at so many reviews. Within 48 hours I was contacted and was assigned to Dr Ann Brown. I called her and she answered right away. She listened to what I had to say and gave great advice. Right after our session she sent me an approved esa letter that I gave to the landlord. My dog helps me through so much and I am so happy I decided to do this. I don’t have time. Just the thought of Going to a therapist in person raised my anxiety. Thank you soooo much Dr Ann Brown AND Certapet for being there for me! I’d recommend them to anyone! I’ve been spreading the word to everyone about this company, you won’t be disappointed.

To those who are considering using this service: I am an individual who experienced sustained complex trauma as well as an acute crisis that left me unable to function in both life and work. Although I have had a significant amount of support and resources to hold me through my healing process it has been my pet that has significantly impacted my well being in very sacred ways. Many people often stop me on the street and ask me where I found my pet and my response is that “he found me”. Certapet understood my narrative and their service has enabled me with the opportunity for my pet and me to truly share in our life experiences in a ver wholistic way. Throughout the process they held me with the utmost empathy, professionalism, attentiveness, and since love. I am grateful for them and thank them all for their service.

Extremely helpful, friendly and FAST!

I was actually quite surprised and impressed at how thorough the assessment was. I imagined you just filled out a form, paid your $150 and got a letter in the mail. But they actually had a therapist call and interview me. She asked about my psychiatric history and had quite a few questions about how my dog helps me manage my PTSD. She was very kind and professional: And I got my letter right away. My only reason for giving them 4 stars versus 5 is that they don't tell you upfront that you will be charged an additional $50 for a custom form. ALL of the major airlines now require these forms before they will accept an ESA on a plane, and it's disingenuous if not outright dishonest for CertaPet not to explain the additional charge. My therapist told me I might need the form, but did not tell me it would cost $50. I wound up needing two because I'm traveling on two different airlines. So the $150 ESA letter cost me $250. I should have known that from the get-go.

Great experience. They have awesome therapists who were capable, kind and was able to ask appropriate questions without making me feel uncomfortable. They also give recommendations and follow up. What an awesome service.

I applied on a Wednesday for a housing ESA letter. Right away I was approved as a good candidate for an ESA and filled out the application immediately after. Later the same day, I was contacted by my assigned LMHP and I within 2 hours, she had sent me times to talk. She even had availability the next day! I signed up to talk to her on Thursday and she called right in the time window I had selected. She asked the right questions regarding my dog and my anxiety. She was incredibly understanding and I felt very comfortable speaking with her. At the end of the call, I already knew she had approved me and I received her signed ESA letter within the hour. This huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Then over the weekend, I presented my ESA letter to my apartment complex and they easily accepted it. Now I can live happily with my best friend. This was a wonderful experience!
