I have had a great experience when it comes to communication with the Certa Pet team answering any questions I have, especially from Fabiola!

Almost all airlines require ESA custom forms to be submitted which Certapet charges $49.99 each for; it completely defeats the purpose of purchasing the travel ESA letter from them because it is not valid. Through this company's website and advertisements, it claims to guarantee the ability to fly with your ESA pet at no cost; yet it charges a hefty amount just for your therapist to fill out a form. Your therapist cannot and will not sign the custom form until you upload it on Certapet and pay the price. They do not mention these additional fees until after you have registered and paid for the initial ESA letter (which again, is invalid for almost all airlines). This is a scam.

This process was easy and they did their best to ensure it was stress free, as I have Depression and anxiety over even small things such as this. Thanks certapet.

I reached out to certapet after I spoke to my apartment complex manager. I told her about my mental health issues and she told me I would need a letter to keep my puppy due to restrictions on age. Once I contacted certapet, I was assigned to a therapist Prairie Conlon. She asked me a lot of questions and did not seem sympathetic to my situation. She said she would not give me a letter since my apartment complex already gave me a warning letter about the dog. I tried to explain that my complex did not care whether I was issued a warning because after I spoke with them they said they would accept a letter without any problem. She Said it was her "ethical" duties or something like that. I went to a different site and obtained my letter for a cheaper price and turning it in and it was accepted by my complex. I would not recommend certa pet to anyone needing an ESA letter.

This was such an easy way to certify my dog as an ESA. Everything was self explanatory and it was quick and very little wait time for the documents. I highly recommend this website if you’re anxious to travel or need housing for your pets.

After paying, I was contacted via text message with a request to set up a time to chat with the therapist I was assigned. It was very fast and I was impressed. I told the therapist I had open availability and then I never heard anything for two weeks. I texted her and tried to set up another appointment and still silence. After the third week, I contacted customer service and requested a refund as I began to worry I had been scammed. I received my letter the next day via email. The letter that I was emailed was in an odd format and the letterhead didn’t look professional at all. I became worried. The one I received is snail mail was perfect. I contacted my landlord who essentially informed me that the letter was useless and that my therapist needed to complete a form. That completed form cost me $50. I submitted my completed form and was approved within 10 business days. I would have given 5 stars except the time frame it took to be contacted was long and it was inconvenient for me to have to continue to follow-up myself. Also, since the letter is useless for many people, I suggest they change it to either allowing customers to opt for either a letter or a completed form for the same fee. If someone needs both, then charge the additional fee. Overall, not a bad service. The customer service is impeccable. They respond almost instantly and have all the answers!
