CertaPet.com was a major disappointment and did not deliver the professional, reliable ESA letter it promises. The document I received felt generic and rushed, lacking personalization and the clarity you would expect from a legitimate service. Instead of feeling confident using it, I was left questioning whether it would actually be accepted if reviewed closely. Customer support was equally frustrating. Once payment was made, responses became slow and vague, offering little real help or reassurance. For the high price they charge, the lack of transparency and follow-up made the entire experience feel like a waste of money. I would not recommend CertaPet.com to anyone looking for a trustworthy ESA letter service.

I dont trust the certapet anymore and will never get another service again from them.they just dont response you properly and just make the process very difficult to get it done on time .

My experience with Certapet.com was honestly terrible. The entire process was rushed, impersonal, and completely unprofessional. The therapist hardly listened, asked repetitive questions, and didn’t seem to care about my situation at all. The whole thing felt lazy and mechanical. They advertise a fast, straightforward process, but that’s totally misleading. The site is confusing to use, their communication is almost nonexistent, and it took forever to receive my ESA letter — which still came with errors. Certapet.com is unreliable and only focused on taking your money rather than helping you. Their service is fake, overpriced, and not worth the frustration. Stay far away from this company.

Letter I received was of no help. Waste of money. Then they charged me for another year with no authorization. Airlines have their policies and many won’t accept the letters you get through Certapet. I did get a refund and won’t be dealing with this business anymore.

Read the other one star reviews. Zero transparency on charges. I applied and made sure there was a refundable policy if my PSD letter was not an option. BEFORE having a consummation with the therapist, the therapist sends an email outlining that in order to hectic a psd letter you must receive therapy. Note that this information is NOT posted anywhere before you apply! In my case this isn’t useful. I’ve had a service dog for ten years trained for two. I canceled the initial consultation and was charged $5.00. Any company that tries to get you to apply without stating exactly what will be required from you and then charges you saying it’s a non refundable administrative fee is dishonest plain and simple. ZERO TRANSPARENCY. GO elsewhere

Beware of this letter churning scam that preys on the already vulnerable persons with disabilities. I would rate this company with a zero - but that was not an option hence the 1 star review. In my case Certa Pet referred Jenny Thomas of Pansy Field Counselling to assess my need for a support animal and provide a Travel Letter that would enable me to travel with my service dog. Certa Pet and Ms. Thomas were aware of the breed and weight of my service dog prior to drafting the letter. The letter contained a clause referring to a 22lb weight restriction for air travel , when I questioned why they would accept my money - (which they receive up front before any service is provided) knowing that my dog did not meet the most recent criteria for air travel , I was told that it was my problem and they don't provide refunds. So I paid 150.00 for a letter that I cannot use and they will not refund me ..... total scam !
