Denied me without explanation, told me to get a therapist in the area when I explained in the assessment I no longer see one in the area for my own reasons. This is after meeting most criteria for an ESA letter. They told me they would refund me but it wasn't until I responded with an obviously frustrated response and was given attitude was I issued the refund email... Now waiting and hoping I actually get my money back and they're not a straight out scam. Also, they claim to pair you with someone in your area... I live in NY and I was paired with someone located in TX. Edit: Did NOT get assigned "state by state" assignment as certipet tries to claim in response. As TEXAS IS NOWHERE NEAR NYS. The fact that i lost 35 dollars after meeting criteria because the "therapists" are quacks and straight out rude. They glance at the all over the place questionnaire and deny you immediately without questions. If you want an ESA go through a legitimate therapist. Less likely to scam and steal your money.

My issue was resolved so fast and everything was hassle free. I had one issue and it was a mistake made on my end, they were super friendly and helpful.

Fake! They take your money before you ever get to talk to a board certified doctor in your area. Don't trust that this letter will get you on a flight (though maybe a landlord would fall for it).

I must admit I was a little weary of CertaPet because of the number of ESA scam sites and fake ‘registries’ but after communicating with two different members of staff, who both answered my questions promptly and kindly, I moved forward with the process. The doctor I was put in touch with was lovely and both the online process and the interview were smooth running and uncomplicated. I am glad to have found certapet and will definitely use them in the future. Highly recommended.

I've been with certapet since December 2019. Just referred a friend and initially had an issue with receiving the Amazon gift card for it but certapet was quick to respond and fixed the issue for me in a timely manner and made it work. Excellent support. Thanks

I waited 10 whole days to be assigned a therapist. She was based in Texas, while I was in Toronto. I didn’t want hassles with a certificate from another country, so I requested someone from Canada, if not Ontario. I was informed this was the only therapist available in ‘my region’!!! Really?? Unbelievable, and super unprofessional. They took their own time to address my concerns and tried their best to get me to see this therapist. They did give me a full refund, though. Overall, a huge waste of time and energy.
