New Patient Experience
So far, I’ve only had two appointments, but they’ve been great. The first woman I had an appointment with me was very honest at the end, and informed me that she didn’t feel qualified to help me, but would find me someone who was. I had my second appointment with a new person, James Brown, just two days later, and it went so well. He listened to me, and was even able to correct a wrongful diagnosis that has had me on incorrect meds for years. I’m definitely excited to see how this helps me. Would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Provider & Customer Service Experience
When I had my appointment, the provider was over 15 minutes late to the appointment. The provider did not give a full assessment like I have experienced with more reputable companies. Fortunately, I have been diagnosed with me condition for several years and knew what medication I needed. If you are looking to receive medication only, you better immediately cancel the subscription to the service or you will be automatically charged for another appointment that you do not need and Cerebral refuses to refund. Overall, the experience was incredibly poor with customer service and the professionalism of the providers. I would recommend going with another online service.

definitely recommend
i’ve been using cerebral for about a year and a half and i’m so glad i found it! my counselor is very attentive, caring, helpful, and personable. i’m always so excited for our appointments. and my prescriber is also very helpful and listens to my needs, helping me find the right meds for me and being patient through the process. i’d recommend this to everyone struggling with their mental health! :)

Answer some questions, narrow your search, get good results
It was good to be able to answer a brief questionnaire and find a selection of therapists - if I'm going to be letting someone into my head, I need to at least be comfortable that they'll understand my lived experience, and not everyone, regardless of expertise, can do that.
