I’m so glad I found Cerebral and that options like this exist now. Everything is virtual and they have been available and dependable for questions/customer support.

My therapist is wonderful, but the technology leaves MUCH to be desired. I have to communicate via voice on my cell phone since doxy.me hasn't worked since I started with Cerebral. I'm a retired IT professional, and if I had the same record of success as the techs at doxy, I'd have been canned already.

I had an issue with medications and wasn’t able to use the service. There was some confusion with billing but after I contacted the company they were able to rapidly correct the issue. Make sure that you understand the billing contract in it’s entirety.

They gave me a 100 dollar charge for medication management for a ten minute phone call where they told me my case was too advanced for them to manage due to my history of psychosis and are doing their best to say that was services rendered for medication management, which it literally wasn't. They aren't even offering a partial refund and kept shifting their goalposts, saying they could refund the therapy i hadn't taken yet, to trying to offer me a discount on the next month of a service that has only given me an upsetting experience, one i definitely don't want, so that they don't even have to refund that.

Excellent and fast response time! Extremely professional and understanding. I was worried that I got locked in a subscription but they responded to my refund and cancellation request with a quickness at 2 in the morning. I plan to look further into their service again in the future.

Canceled my membership, but it had been paid already for the month. No big deal because I wouldn't have minded the guided advice to taper off my medication. NOPE. As soon as you cancel a card with them, your subscription is null. Even though on the account it had said I was paid for the entire month, nope. They wouldn't let me see a care provider until I bitched to customer support where they sent a "special log in key" what kinda help is that. Imagine a mental health company dumping you like a girl because you don't got any more money going there way for the future. I paid for the service and did not get to use said service after payment. Complete bull.

The business works like this: The first month: You pay like $50, which includes: 1) Appointment with someone to evaluate you and prescribe meds. 2) The actual prescription. 3) Medication mailed to your doorstep (cost is included in the $50). 4) A monthly meeting with some kind of “mental health professional”. Every month thereafter: You pay like $100, which includes: 1) Medication mailed to your doorstep (cost is included in the $100). 2) A monthly meeting with some kind of “mental health professional”. If you’re thinking: “Wow, $50 is a good deal to see a mental health care professional who can evaluate me and get me what I need during these crazy times”, consider this: Cerebral is not licensed to prescribe certain mental health medication. It’s a shot in the dark whether you’ll get a prescription for what you need. In my case, I was given an alternate prescription, which I was not happy about. If you’re thinking: "They can probably prescribe me what I need. If they can, I'll get a therapy session and my medication for only $100 per month. What a deal!", consider this: You are not necessarily getting a licensed therapist every month. The mental health care professionals were mostly students from what I could tell, studying fields like social work. Not credentialed. Why would I trust my mental health with them? So what are you getting out of this transaction? In my case, not even medication. Cerebral says that my medication was delivered, but I never received it. Of course I’ve followed up with them at length asking for either a refund or to re-send the medication. No success. So I received nothing, and won’t recommend the service to anybody.

My PCP closed down during COVID and then I lost my job and was so worried I wouldn’t be able to get help for my mental health. I found Cerebral through a Facebook ad and thought the pricing was reasonable. Little did I know the service would also be amazing. I was able to see my provider pretty much right away and I got a chance to read counselors bios and choose my own. I wasn’t comfortable speaking to a man about my sexual abuse, so I chose a counselor named Annie. I am elated to be working with the entire company. My provider Sara is also amazing - but I don’t see her as much. I have seen Annie 2x now and have my 3rd session booked. We went over techniques for my PTSD and she educated me on mindfulness and the mind-body connection. For anyone suffering, especially during COVID - sign up for Cerebral today!! P.S. I am sure the men working here are fabulous as well, I just preferred to speak to a women.
