The counselor was unapologetic about being 7 minutes late and only spent 17 minutes with me. I don’t feel like she took enough time to get to know me. I understand scripts are probably necessary to ensure certain points are covered but she didn’t have much to say beyond the script.

I was very nervous to speak to someone. The provider was very nice. Thoughtful. She made the experience much better than I thought!

I am so happy that I saw the commercials for Cerebral!! This has helped me with my condition! My clinician Leah was AWESOME with me and she totally understood what I was going through. Thanks Cerebral and my care team. I would recommend this site to anyone!

This "therapy" is a scam! Had a 19 minute "initial evaluation" from a "prescriber" who was sitting in her kitchen. The TV was so loud in the background I had to ask her to turn it down. Then in a lifeless manner she asks me a series of yes and no questions about my mood and anxiety and tells me she will prescribe zoloft after I told her in the beginning I cant tolerate that class of medicine. She says, "oh, yea, I forgot" and then says she will give me Lexapro which is the same SSRI class! She KNEW NOTHING!! All of these venture capital funded online mental health treatment companies are just rich people capitalizing on the pandemic online model. Cerebral is run by a 30 year old joke of a "CEO" with absolutely no medical background who is clearly a total narcissist--look how many employees (including C-suite) who are abruptly leaving. Read the Bloomberg article about the reality of Cerebral.com. And they buy these positive reviews--don't believe them. The real owners don't give the slightest damn about quality healthcare--they just want to have hyper growth, go public and then cash out. Stick with a local, in person doctor. Your mental health is way too important!

I signed up for the app and a week later had an appointment with a provider. 15 minutes before my appointment the prescriber canceled on me (It was Easter i can't be too upset) they got me in 3 days later. My provider was extremely genuine, compassionate and non dismissive. Listened to my desires and the way that I wanted to be treated. The entire care staff and support in general is amazing. ____________________________________ The issue however is the atrocious lack of logistics and management. I was prescribed on the first visit with my prescriber however my medication got stuck instead of going to my pharmacy. It took over a week of daily emails, instant messages and phone calls to escalate to where my medication has now arrived at my pharmacy. This caused me a lot of undue stress as I wasn't anticipating it and was in need of relatively urgent treatment. -----------------------------‐--‐------------- Looking past the infrastructure and growing problems they are experiencing, I think they have an opportunity to change the way we approach mental health, encourage medication therapy when necessary and holistic CBT style methods when not. I would not say they are a pill mill. They do their due diligence and check your states PDMP to ensure you are not simply a drug seeker. As someone who has a plethora of mental health disorders and my nearest available physical clinic within 100 miles and booked out into 2023 I would say they have likely saved me a lot of suffering. The price is steep but if you don't have insurance it's the same cost as an in person therapy session twice a month. I would love to give them a 4-5 star and my rating my change down the line as I continue my care with them. For now however whomever handles the operations needs to enroll for their PMP and a Business Analyst class. TLDR: I would highly recommend Cerebral, just understand that with any startup you're going to have growing pains.
