I do not recommend cerebral. I was able to meet with a therapist one time. Immediately after I was randomly reassigned ‘due to capacity’ to a male therapist. During intake I specifically said I preferred a female therapist. So again I asked to be reassigned. Once reassigned (a day later) I went to schedule an appointment with the THIRD provider in the last 24-48 hours. I saw a lot of availability for this provider at first and went to book. There was an error upon booking and when I tried again there was no availability. So I asked the customer service team to cancel my plan and refund me my money since I only got 1/4 of the services owed to me from my plan for the month. Even a partial refund would’ve been fine. I was denied this because I was able to meet with someone one (1) time. So the company made it so I was able to have at least one appointment, so they can deny my refund, and than after that im not able to find any provider with availability. I do not recommend cerebral. They just take your money and leave you without care.

They really listen to you and give really good advice

Beware! I was matched with a therapist who I had a good session with and was later told they are not qualified to treat me. I was given a male therapist, which I didn’t want. Cerebral told me they don’t have a female therapist qualified to treat me in NJ. I’m fighting for a refund. Stay away from this company!

The NP said I was right on the edge and basically didn’t want to give me a diagnosis without a second opinion.

Bad billing, no therapists, no one to contact over it, trying to cancel a 2nd time as they are STILL bliing me

I've been struggling with ADHD since a kid. Growing up in a first generation immigrant family, mental health was never considered a real thing. I was that kid that shoved his homework in his backpack, unable to focus in class and constantly restless; But my teachers and parents never really took it for more than face value. This lead me to just feeling helpless. Finding cerebral and opening up about my situation between their provider and care counselor has given me much insight which has led to me feeling less helpless and alone. I really appreciate the service and care I'm getting; even more so with how flexible it all is cause I can accomplish this from my phone.
