I started Cerebral in February of 2021. I had just been laid off and was really struggling with anxiety and panic attacks. Cerebral allowed me to not only verbally process some of these issues but also get needed medications. It had its quirks in the beginning, but I am very thankful for all the help I’ve received. 🙌🙏 I wanted to stick to it for a year and still, here I am!

I was nervous to go to someone for help, especially online…but this has been only a positive experience for me…my therapist is in tune with me and my prescriber listens to what I need or don’t need…anyone needing help should give this a try!

I started using Cerebral today, I have already spoken to a professional and feel positive about my experience and plan. The whole process was very easy and I feel very hopeful.

Like most of us, the past two years have been hard, so after deciding to prioritize my mental health, I found Cerebral. I travel often and have no insurance, so I quickly discovered the limitations of traditional health services. Without Cerebral I would never had the access to speak with a doctor the way that works for me and my life. Everyone I have spoken with thus far has been kind, helpful, and professional and I'm looking forward to continuing to work with the team at Cerebral!

I was able to have two appointments in my first month with cerebral and get the medication I needed. Update 1/30/26 : As this may have been true and at the time I thought this was amazing, I now feel like it was much too easy to get a controlled substance and while I 100% agree with the decision to take away the therapists ability to prescribe, I was left hooked on amphetamines and this led to a year long addiction to meth. I am lucky that it only lasted a year and I've been clean for 3 years now but it still was not okay that I was cut off from a medication that was helping me, only to wind up addicted to another harder substance and I'm SURE I'm not the only.

I signed up for medication and therapy. The lady that does my medicine is very kind, knowledgeable, and communicates very well. She let me know what the medicines did and gave me all the information I needed to know. My therapist was very friendly, listened wonderfully, and let me know how everything worked. The first session is always going to be a little more about learning about how things work but she did make sure that I was in a safe place and that I didn’t need more assistance or critical help. It is a relief to know that things will certainly get better and I have a team of people dedicated to improving myself and getting out of my cycle of anxiety and depression. The road won’t be easy but there is a lot of support.
