Davina is just amazing, and truly lovely to talk to, every time. I lost my dad a week ago, rather suddenly, so the past week has been really rough. I met with Davina today, and she was so empathetic and kind. We made some adjustments to my plan, and will check back in a month. I know that, should I need help in the meantime, she and my care team will be there 100%. I appreciate everyone SO much, and am so grateful. Care like this makes it much easier to get through a very hard time.

I just had my first appointment this morning, before I got the call I was getting really anxious. After talking to my provider I felt much better. She was kind and patient, I'm looking forward to this journey.

Getting help isn’t really something my people do. I was taught that being strong way the only thing acceptable and having depression, anxiety, an eating disorder or even addiction just meant you were weak. I was struggling to get my life out of the mud for years but was too ashamed of my thoughts to seek help. It’s only been my first meeting but I have hope and Cheryl gave it to me. She is so bubbly and sweet that I don’t even have an ounce of regret in my body. I only have excitement for our next session and getting better.

Cerebral is con artist trash. Research how they are being sued and how frustrating it is to cancel an account. I was suffering from insomnia and they assumed I was stressed out. I didn't have anxiety at all, I figured out my insomnia issues on my own. All Cerebral offered me were pills and no real solutions to my insomnia. I refused to take any of the pills they offered and my psychologist was rude to me because I didn't take them. He said, "pills are all I have to offer to you". After my disappointing experience, I immediately wanted to cancel my account but there are no options to cancel on their website or their app. I had to google how to cancel the account. After I emailed to cancel my account, they contacted me back and said sorry to see you go. 2 days later they charged my account again and my account is still active. Now I'm contacting my credit card and disputing every charge. Because they are refusing to refund me my money and cancel my account. Do not support this company. Do not become another victim of their scam services. They are trash.

Terrible company. They will rob you for months, make it impossible to get an appointment, sign you in with a prescriber who can’t help you or fill your medication. They are going down in flames.

My care counselor helps me feel safe and comfortable. The staff messages me on occasion to check on me on my bad days, and I couldn’t be more appreciative.

The doctors and nurses working for Cerebral finally got me the care I've needed all my life. Now the company's shady practices are leaving me unmedicated again and incredibly depressed and hopeless. I had an excellent experience until this past month. I chose Cerebral because my primary insurance has poor mental health coverage but I had strong reason to believe I should investigate my symptoms. I received prompt appointments with an excellent nurse practitioner and counsellor. They took thorough histories, prescribed me medication cautiously and responsibly, and worked with me to find a dosage that has transformed my everyday life. I'm almost a functioning human now! I never felt pushed to take specific medications or up my dose. However- now the corporate platform has been revealed to be pushing too many medications in an irresponsible way, there are legal suits, and so they will no longer be able to prescribe me stimulants starting in October. Ok, that's terrifying, but I had till October to talk to my providers about alternatives and hassle my insurance to get me in-network care. Then- I couldn't get hold of my provider or make an appointment till way past October. I kept signing in to the app to try and, nothing. Today- they took advantage of their sketchy at-will privacy policy, which I hadn't understood and to the extent I did thought it would be worth it to finally acquire desperately needed care. We received emails that they are changing the policy, and signing into the Service or just continuing to use the Service is an acceptance of the change. The updated policy, including cookies about all our internet and social media use, is the most predatory thing I've ever seen. This mental health app knows so much about us, and is apparently already selling all of that or preparing to when it goes bankrupt for its crimes. So- I'm having to cancel as quickly as possible to try to protect my data. No tapering of my medication, no opportunity to get advice from my providers, no way to get diagnosis paperwork from them without endangering my privacy and wallet further. They attracted vulnerable people in need of medical care, misdiagnosed some people, accurately diagnosed some of us and finally got us care, then screwed absolutely all of us. Hopefully the management rots in jail.

This company preys upon people who are trying to improve their mental health. I was excited to start therapy and do it from the comfort of my home. I signed up in Dec. 2021 and had one therapy session which was solely centered around medications, not about me. I decided to give it a month and try it out. I didn’t notice any difference being on the medications, but you have to make an appointment each month to keep up with the meds and I thought maybe it takes time to work so when I went to make an appointment for the next month there was no availability. So not only was I paying $85 for the month and not getting the service, I also couldn’t continue the medication. I decided it was time to cancel but there is nowhere on the app or website to cancel. I tried to call, and all you can get is a machine, I couldn’t talk to anyone. I finally found that you have to email them to cancel your subscription. Which I did, and never received a reply. They of course continued to charge me for 5 months, and I never would get a reply when emailing them. I finally cancelled my debit card to try to get them to stop charging me, which still didn’t work! I finally emailed them again telling them that I had reported them to the better business bureau and that I would be contacting an attorney next if they still refuse to cancel my subscription. They emailed me back 10 minutes later on a Sunday at 7p on Memorial Day weekend. If they are responding to me on a holiday weekend, they obviously read my previous emails to cancel and chose to ignore them. This is DISGUSTING, I feel taken advantage of by trying to improve my mental health and better myself. This has been such a hassle and I couldn’t believe a company could be this awful. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone, ever.
