We placed my dad in a facility two weeks ago and so far they are taking good care of him. She discussed our situation at length with me and not only had a number of promising candidate homes for us to explore that fit our needs but also had helpful information about each that made a very difficult decision much more manageable. When faced with having to place a parent quickly in a facility due to medical problems, one is overwhelmed as to where to start.
