*Scam Alert* Elcaimsline, the insurance underwriter for Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card is a dishonest and scam business. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and my travel claim was denied with two very different bogus excuses. Do not get Chase credit cards thinking their 10k trip interruption and protection will cover you. It won't. If my scenario won't qualify for a claim, yours won't either. 1) Go to my profile. Copy and paste the URL into a browser and read my detailed review on my case. 2) File a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) on Chase and Eclaimsline.

They are horrible. nobody communicates internally and it has been months. I get an email every few weeks with repetitive questions. What is the point of Chase offering insurance if this is who they outsource??? Very disappointing and I will definitely be cancelling this credit card once I have used up all of the points.

This is a terrible, horrible company. Agree with all the other negative reviews. I would give them a negative star if I could. Have spent over a year trying to get reimbursed for my son's plane ticket after he had appendicitis and had to cancel his flight. Have sent in all the documents requested finally after they strung it out as long as possible and now they are saying they need to call the airlines when I have already given them a letter from the airlines.

Awful. The company is a scam. Had a warranty claim on an apple watch. Company took 4 months of endless requests for specific purchase receipts only to be denied because they say they are not the company to send claims to?? Yes. They are telling me they are not the "extended warranty 3rd party company". That is another company called Warranty Manager Services. This is literally a sham company.

In the past I have used my AmEx card when renting cars. This time I decided to use my Mileage Plus Explorer card as it also provides primary coverage. I crunched a small area down below the bumper. I went around and around and around with Card Benefit Services. I had to make three telephone calls. One person would see a document that I sent, the next person wouldn't. I wasted an incredible amount of time trying to get reimbursed. I will never make this mistake again. I will always rent vehicles and charge travel on my Amex Card ... write it 100 times on the blackboard so I remember!

Took me 3 months, over 10 phone calls to get this solved. It's actually not about the time it took, it's about the lousy customer service and one lie after another. I've been calling for more than 10 times, lately once a week. Every time I got the same answer "sir sorry to hear this we promise we will have someone call you tomorrow". No phone call. No email. No correspondences at all. How hard is it to drop me an email, or a phone call, 3 months after I submit my initial online ticket which it says "5 to 7 business days"? I can understand it's time consuming. I can even understand you not being able to give an estimate due to the complexity of this claim. What I cannot understand is, after repeated promise of "we will have someone contact you next week", no actions from your side. There is actually one case where I called you and you said your investigator needed some confirmation from Chase Travel to show my flight ticket wasn't partially refunded by United Airlines. You said you emailed Chase and a week later there was still no reply. You said you would keep waiting (instead of trying again). I called Chase immediately afterwards, and I got the confirmation within 30 minutes, printed to PDF, and sent it to you. I WAS DOING YOUR WORK FOR YOU. This is beyond laughable. One of the worst experience I've ever had in my life. One lie after another. Customer service treating me like trash. Dishonest. Deliberately delaying my case. Next time, attorneys will be involved. Oh btw I had to cancel this trip because my grandma passed away. What a good way to rub salt in my wound. Thank you Chase.

SCAM ALERT: WORST COMPANY! STAY AWAY! I have Chase Sapphire Reserve, and was excited when I had booked my family vacation through their Ultimate Rewards program. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip last minute due to a family member getting hospitalized and sent to the ER. We figured the travel cancellation insurance benefit offered through my Reserve card would take care of things, so we filed a claim. Long story short, it has been over 4 months since our claim was filed and we have provided every piece of document you could imagine. Like other reviewers have said, they keep making stuff up and demanding more and more documentation to deter and frustrate you so they won't have to pay out. I'm cancelling my Chase Sapphire Reserve just because of how horrible this experience has been. STAY AWAY AND BEWARE!

Super easy process for me I was rather pessimistic about this based on other reviews, but I had a really good experience. I had a new pair of sunglasses that broke when dropped just a couple months after buying them. I submitted proof of purchase, credit card statement, and picture. I heard back 2 weeks later that my claim was accepted. Giving only 4 stars, as they say you'll hear back within 5 days (not 2 weeks)...but hey, 2 weeks is pretty reasonable in my book.
