Lots of back and forth with this company. Extremely vague, loses paperwork, does not return calls, etc. I initially thought that this was a nice perk to having my Chase Southwest Card. I am thinking otherwise. Terrible service.

My collision damage waiver payment for denting the fender of a Europcar rental in Italy, through Capital One visa card, was refunded in full and with a fair Euro/dollar exchange rate. It did take 3 months from initial application to receiving the payment, most of which was waiting for the rental company to supply documents. The initial instructions about what to submit weren't completely clear (e.g. an "accident report" had to be more formal than the written comments about the damage entered by the rental agent on the rental agreement) but what was requested was reasonable in the context of the situation. I read reviews by others here on TrustPilot and elsewhere saying that eclaimsline was basically a scam, but that was not my experience. The only reason for not giving them a "5" is that they took longer to deal with and reply to my submissions than the promised 5 working days. But, since the damage was completely my fault, I can't complain!

I am very disappointed in your customer service. you say "We will reply to your benefit inquiry within 24-48 business hours" BUT DON'T. I called and was told I would get a callback within 3 hours on an URGENT matter and it's now 4 DAYS later. You provide a valuable benefit but are not helpful in getting it. I asked in an email 20 days ago if you have legal representation to represent us in this claim because it was unpaid and the rental agency took legal action for payment. Now the law firm wants their fee for service and still I have received no replies from you. Is your legal department out to lunch? I believe they were not paid initially due to errors at your end including 1. possibly contacting the wrong rental agency in the first place and 2.not following up with me or them. I trusted that you knew what you were going and now I have to pay the consequences. This inferior service is not the service I expect from VISA. I have been a customer for decades but now it's time to examine the alternatives out there. (this is from my message to them, still unresponded to)

They do not deserve a 1 star. Horrible experience with them. This company will do close to anything to not pay out. It has been 3 months and they are still asking for additional information. Their trick is to initially be very vague on what type of documentation is needed then to start this never ending back and forth that will just lead to more questions and more documentations that need to be provided. Unbelievable....

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My experience has been continual back-and-forth correspondence with eclaimsline requesting documents that have already been both emailed and uploaded. They claim the documents are not legible when in fact they are perfectly legible, high-resolution PDFs (no handwriting involved). The strategy seems to be to cause further and further delays until the 100-day limit has passed and then they don't havve to pay up. All this hassle for a few hundred bucks on their part.

Website extremely buggy. Email bounced with "inbox full" message. They asked me for my credit card number three times. It's taking 1.5 months to evaluate a claim and it's not over yet. They do all they can do discourage cardholders from filing claims.
