As far as I am concerned, this company is fraudulent. First time using their service, a claim was approved since August 3rd. After 2 months of back and forth with them asking for documents I had already sent. Now we are september 23rd. Every person i speak to including claim examiner, their response: we dont know sir, you should just wait. I would never advise anyone to go and do business with them. Just incompetent people making false promises about paying money back after claim is approved.

They make it literally impossible to submit a claim. First you spend a ton of time submitting everything on heir online portal, only at the end for it to say 'unexpected error occurred.' Wasted several hours trying over 5 times over various days. Then via email they either put you through an endless cycle of asking the same questions, or they just don't respond. Phone they typically don't answer or same issues of no actual help. It's a disgrace that legit credit card companies use Eclaimsline for this fake insurance.

What a terrible experience. They stalled more than three times by asking for info that was already submitted. Then they say “ claim was denied, I can’t see the prior info, you have to re- submit and challenge the denial “ ( that happened twice) and the list of BS trying to get a credit has caused me to stop using. My Chase Visa and went back to Amex! Started claim in Oct, finally resolved in January all for $1500 against a plane ticket of more than $2000

What an absolute joke! Submitted claim over two months ago and went through a loop of them asking for the same information over and over that was uploaded to my account and provided by email multiple times. Representative called and was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I called back in the hopes of speaking to someone else, and that person was also very unprofessional! Told him I had submitted everything multiple times in different formats as requested and just wanted to verify that they had everything they needed and if there was anything else I needed to do. Just kept saying No One at the company could provide that answer. Really? Then said "Look man, I'm trying to stay professional" You're trying?!? They are very aggressive and just want to talk over you. They may not be owned by Chase but it negatively reflects on Chase and we are planning on cancelling all business and personal cards as well as our business merchant processing with Chase after dealing with this absurdness unless the right thing is done. Hundreds of thousands of dollars will be lost by Chase as a result over a lost baggage claim. Great job Eclaims scammers!

As others stated, it's a complete scam. They asked me for multiple documents for almost a year only to deny me what was clearly an easy case. My car was stolen a year ago, and I immediately filed a police report afterward. Their answer was, "I should have secured the vehicle." I booked this with my CSR, thinking I'd be protected. I was a huge Chase customer, as I have their bank account as well as three other credit cards.

I filed a straightforward claim 4 months ago, providing all necessary documentation in the correct formatting both via their site and through one concise email. They have dragged me along for 4 months, long drawn out phone calls 2x per week and there is always an excuse, confusion on their end as to why it hasn't yet been accepted, and a new way they want me to resubmit the same documents. I feel this is a scam meant to drag out until I give up. I know I am in the right here because they would have simply denied my claim long ago if not. complete scam.

If there was an option of zero stars, I'd give it. Horrible customer service. I filed a claim EIGHT MONTHS AGO. I emailed and called about FIFTY times (no exaggeration). I get nothing but the run around. After FIVE months they finally decided that they received all the paperwork (which I had to submit more than once). The field investigator said he called the rental agency, yet the rental agency has no record of their name or number. I begged eclaims many times to call me back - that was MONTHS ago, still no call back. I simply don't know what to do at this point. I even tracked down the underwriter of the policy, they too say Eclaims must help me. So I'm hoping this review will get them to reach out and help me. Incredibly painful dealing with these people after my backpack was stolen. They are obviously trying to make your experience as miserable as possible so you give up before they have to pay you. I tried making a claim on their website multiple times and each time the website crashed at the very end. When I finally managed to submit my documents, they told me my police report was "insufficient" because "it did not list the claimed item(s)", but the items were clearly listed. I resubmitted with the same police report and it was accepted, so the first person who looked at it must have been illiterate. They said it would take 10 business days to review my case, but I had to send them a reminder after the deadline passed. Now they've finally approved my claim, but for some reason the payment is only for one of the two items I claimed, so I have to write them another email so I can get the full payment I deserve. This company is maliciously incompetent.
