Excruciatingly slow
I damaged a rental car and had to deal with eclaimsline to get reimbursed through my credit card auto rental insurance. Terrible experience. Took six months to get my money. Reps on the phone were friendly, and seemed to want to help, but the process took so long for no apparent reason. I finally got my check in the mail (I don't know why they don't do digital payment), then realized after some time that I can't find the check or any record of its deposit. Contacted them, and they claim it was deposited, so now I need to to try to trace it. This mess is my fault, but there's no reason why I have to squeeze each response out of them. Chase (and all credit card issuers) should be held accountable for the service and reliability of a company to which they outsource insurance services which they promise their customers. They must ensure that their service providers are not below the standard that Chase customers expect of Chase itself. If Chase cannot oversee Eclaimsline's services, perhaps they should reconsider who they outsource their credit card insurance services to. Anyone evaluating their choices for a new credit card should take into account not only what insurance coverages the issuer promises, but who will be fulfilling those promises.
