Filed for Medical Emergency Reimbursement (wife broke foot in Mexico). It took a little time and I had to track down some documentation; paperwork from Mexican hospital detailed all charges but did not actually contain a diagnosis. Service Rep Charlene called me and walked me through exactly what I still needed to successfully file a claim. It worked and after a total of 6 weeks, we were reimbursed for the ER charges.

I filed a purchase protection claim for a stolen item and they gave me the run around for 3 months and tried everything to NOT pay up. Also the guy calling me has a thick Indian accent and has terrible command of the English language. Nightmare to deal with. I just want to cancel the claim and pay for the item myself just so I don't have to deal with them calling me for stupid documents that I've submitted over and over again. First they ask me for the Store phone number to make sure i didn't return the item. Then a month later they ask me for a picture of the item. Then another month after that they request a new incident report. It's been 3 months. I'm definitely never making purchases on this card for insurance ever again knowing that I have to deal with a nightmare for 3+ months before a decision is made.

I wished to give them a zero star if there is available. Absolutely fraud business. Asked the submit same documents over and over, then closed without notification. Asked to close a duplicate claim, instead the pending claim was closed. How could this kind of business can exist and Chase uses them to fulfill the claims!

I have a Chase credit card which includes a trip interruption benefit, which lead me to file a claim (with all necessary documentation) requesting reimbursement due to severe weather impacting prepaid and non-refundable travel arrangements purchased through a travel supplier. My claim was unexpectedly closed without a claims examiner ever contacting me in regards to eligibility. I successfully appealed this closure and was informed my claim would continue to be processed. On multiple subsequent occasions, eclaimsline requested additional documentation from me--documents which I had previously submitted through their site--which I provided in a thorough and timely manner. However, eclaimsline repeatedly missed its stated '5 business day' review and response window after I provided the requested info. This dragged out for two months with numerous phone calls to eclaimsline representatives who were largely unaware and unhelpful in providing the status, timeline, or any other assistance with my claim. Finally, I was informed by eclaimsline that my claim had been rejected due to ineligibility of my specific trip interruption circumstances, despite the fact that prepaid and non-refundable travel arrangements interrupted due to severe weather is explicitly included on Chase's list of covered situations. eclaimsline has made this an unreasonably difficult process which has been compounded with grossly inadequate customer service. Similar to other reviewers, I deem eclaimsline to be unreliable and untrustworthy--I am supremely disappointed that Chase continues to partner with them.

It's been four months since I've filed two claims (one on a delayed departure flight and one for the return trip). Thus far I've submitted the same documents 8 times for the departure trip. Agents have called me 5 times with accents so thick I can't understand them. I've not received any correspondence regarding the second claim at this point. It's clear this "company" just throws hurdles at you on the hope you will give up in frustration. Chase card company should be ashamed of itself for sub-contracting out this service to these scam artists.

The same experience as everyone else here: filed for compensation due to travel disruption, provided all documents, re-sent the same documents after they requested them again and then was made to wait an inordinate amount of time. Claim was eventually denied. I don’t know why as it was fairly well documented and self-explanatory. Chase obviously knows how incompetent this service is and really shouldn’t be advertising it as a card benefit. I’ll be looking for a new credit card and it won’t be with Chase

Absolute GARBAGE. I've been waiting on a simple auto rental collision damage claim for eight (8!!) months. I gave them all the documents when I initially filed my claim. They ignored me for weeks. I checked in, they said I needed to send more documents. I sent them, they ignored me. They repeated this pattern for MONTHS. I still don't have an answer. I recently ("recently" = 3 months ago) submit another claim for travel interruption. Again, simple, I submit all the documents they asked for. Same story. They're worthless.
