My initial supplies, ordered by my Dr.'s office, arrived & the compression splint was accompanied by a single compression sock. I was told by Dr.'s staff that I could purchase additional socks directly, that many of their patients did. Upon contacting Byram, I was told that they would only sell their stockings with the purchase of a additional velcro splint. When I questioned how I was supposed to launder the sock and wear it at the same time, I was insulted and told to contact the manufacturer myself. Very dismissive and angry customer service. Upon asking to speak to a supervisor, I was left on hold until I was disconnected.

Byram's customer service blows hot or cold - the reps are either excellent or apathetic. If you don't know the right questions to ask or can't read minds, you're pretty much SOL. The auto-reorder system either reminds you too early, or not at all. It is the patient's responsibility to keep track of when to reorder their supplies. It is also the patient's responsibility to stay on them to get the answers you need - if I didn't need to use them (b/c of my particular insurance) I would use Shield.

I keep careful tabs on my husband’s Dexcom sensors due to the 10 day ordering rule. After ordering online for the first time, which they encourage you do, I became concerned when the sensors had still not arrived with only 3 days left on his current one. I called customer service and was told that they would not be sent until the next day because the prescription had to be renewed by the doctor and sent to Byram and that apparently took 7 days. I wish I had been notified of this because I could have helped the process take less time by contacting the doctor myself during the stall time. The Dexcom is truly a life changing medical device and people depend on having them sent on time. Does Byram know how emotional this can be for patients who have come to depend on the constant blood sugar feedback? I can understand true problems in delivery such as transportation during storms or maybe a fire in a warehouse but this seems to be an issue of communication incompetence. After reading some other reviews I realize my husband is lucky to have only a 2 day gap between sensors. Maybe Byram should consider a 15 day supply rule so they have enough time to process orders.

I have had nothing but issues with getting supplies prior to running out of the Dexcom items that I use. I am going anywhere from a week to a month without the supplies. There is always an excuse as to why I have to wait for the supplies but it is never their fault. I get insurance has specifics as to when this can happen but seriously they should be easier to get than that

Byram is never on time with there Dexcom supplies and there is no communication . I am a transplant patient waiting an organ and need constant reading on my diabetes these people are a joke once you get approved with them they have you i have tried to change to CVS but cant get covered because i am using Byram. Do not get involved with these people

I suspect Byram of fraudulent billing to myself and Blue Cross. I received a brand new bill for supplies that were supposedly sent 1 year ago. The billing statement is labeled First Notice. It's a new bill for supplies that they say were delivered last year. If they had delivered supplies, why wait an entire year to send the first bill? The statement shows that they were paid by Blue Cross, and the remainder is my responsibility. I made a call to Byram, and the charge was immediately erased, without even explaining my issue to them. How easy it would be to bill clients in a different insurance year for supplies that one might have a slight memory of possibly receiving. Medical bills are so numerous, and so many different companies are involved in separate charges, it's often simpler to pay bills that "ring a bell", rather than investigate dates and deliveries, given that Byram puts you on an interminable hold on the phone. So, I took the time to read and check up on the bill, and when I called, they dropped the charge. Methinks they gamble on most people just paying, rather than complaining. I wonder how often the insurance company catches the "error". I plan to inform Blue Cross.

I used Byram Healthcare for my diabetes supplies, whcih was a HUGE MISTAKE! Byram did ok at first and sent my supplies as needed, properly billing my insurance. Out of no where, they fail to send my transmitters and do not notify me as to why. When I called them I was told I had a balance due over $700. I had NO insurance changes, etc. so I was confused - the customer "service" agent was rude about it. After a lot of wasted time and digging I found out they were sending things out sooner than they should have and prematurely billed my insurance, so guess what? It wasn't covered. After pulling several documents, multiple calls, etc. I filed a complaint with my insurance company (useless) and against Byram. Since I never heard back or received any more balance due letters I assumed it was taken care of as it is pretty clear they KNOWINGLY prematurely sent/billed things to get more money. Boy was that a mistake, this so called company sent me to collections! Nothing from them stating I still owed money, nothing rebutting my complaints or acknowledging them, NOTHING. This company is A COMPLETE JOKE and there are plenty of suppliers who actually KNOW THE BUSINESS and CORRECTLY bill insurance instead of fraudulently billing early to collect more money!

Absolutely horrible customer service. I have been on hold for hours and no one has answered the phone. I tried the call back method and no one called me back. Being in the healthcare profession, customer service is very important and Byram Healthcare is absolutely horrible with it. I am leaving Byram and switching to a different provider.
